This is a great place. Dr. Chris and staff Christine were excellent. Caring, thoughtful, gentle, understanding and compassionate. Didn't make me feel he was rushing. Took my feelings into consideration. Fit me in their schedule pronto. Explained in detail with pictures what was wrong and what was needed. Explained about new meds he could take on the future and pricing. We now have a new vet! The first 2 pictures were beside the removal. His dewckaw was split up to nub and nerve out. The next he is being held and rocked after the removal and the last is after he took the bandage off. Thank you Dr. Chris and Christine. (I sure hope I got that name correct.

Jan 13, 2025 · Shirley AThey were extremely professional, friendly, and explained the medications for my new kitty in detail, which was super helpful. I can tell they truly care about my cat, not just the vet but the vet tech also. I have become disillusioned with vet techs acting very unprofessional and uncaring at some vet clinics I have been to with previous animal companions, so it meant the world to me to find a vet with compassionate and professional support staff. Wonderful experience here at Kent Town!
May 15, 2025 · Lou SchleichI am a new client at KenTown. I was referred to this practice by my sister who brings her cats there. My cat’s name is MACY. She is not a fan of going to the vet and has been rejected by another local clinic in Berea. We had a wonderful experience with DR. Emily, Eleanor and Jessica. We were treated like FAMILY not a new customer! MACY had an infection and thanks to the amazing medical care she is all healed! We can’t wait to go back in October for her annual visit!! 5 stars!!
Jan 27, 2025 · jennifer hallI had a truly amazing experience! Dr. Millington and Eleanor were great. My border collie is very reactive. I was so nervous and worried to bring him to the vet. But, they were so patient, understanding, and kind. I really can't express how good the experience was. They answered all questions I had also. Everyone was great. I will totally recommend! ♥️
Apr 23, 2025 · Lisa MussonThe staff here is excellent. Everybody who helped me on the phone (Stacy, Kelly, Daisy forgive me if I forgot a name or got it wrong) are all helpful. Dr. Chris is a compassionate man and I can tell he is a good person just from the way he speaks and the look on his face. I want to write my thoughts on what happened the few times I was here. Last year my 15 year old cat developed a growth on his tongue. We weren't sure what it was but Dr. Chris told us it was cancer and explained everything to me. He told me that removing the growth would only delay the inevitable (paraphrasing ofc) and that there are long term treatments but they are very costly and stressful to animals. I understood what he meant right then and there. Though the growth could be removed it would come back in a short span of time and then the only thing that could be done was chemo, feeding tubes, removal of the jaw, etc. He was smart not to say what he was actually trying to say because he doesn't want to upset somebody. I'm an older person now and I got the hint right away and appreciate his candor. I can see other people not so happy about it because it is after all their pet's life. Anyway he once again asked me if we would like to at least remove the growth that would eventually come back. He drove the point home that it would probably come back in about a month or two. Instead of just taking our money and doing the surgery he actually informed us of everything to expect. This is when I knew Dr. Chris was the real deal. We did indeed proceed with removal of the growth because I felt the need to try what we could afford. In my mind I knew it was a long shot but a shot I needed to take regardless. I know it may come off as selfish but this actually turned out to be a pretty good decision. It gave our boy about another month of life and though that may not seem long he was happy and eating and doing his thing just only a few days after surgery. It gave us time to spend with him and spoil him and prepare ourselves for the inevitable. When it came time to do so Dr. Chris was the one to send him on his way and I couldn't ask for a better person to do so. Flash forward to yesterday 10-11-24. Our other cat ended up getting sick (I wont get into details) Dr. Chris was again there for the euthanasia process. He was very gentle, caring, and compassionate. Truly born for this role in life. I seen a quick look of hurt on his face for the deed that he would have to perform. I hate to see people sad but at the same time it made me happy. It made me happy to see that this situation hit him hard despite the fact he's done this routine plenty. It told me everything I needed to know. He cares and I hope and feel certain he will always feel that way. I feel that it will never get easier for him, but he is the one that must do it BECAUSE he cares. I couldn't thank him in person as I was too choked up and holding back tears so I just gave him a handshake and left the room with my daughter while my wife stayed behind to send our boy away. It was my only way of communicating and not only saying "Thank you." but also to say "I respect you." Dr. Chris, do not ever change your outlook on your profession. Continue to do what you do. You may have studied hard and worked hard to get where you are at but there are some outstanding traits that simply cannot be taught. Traits that people are just born with and you possess that. Compassion, empathy, and honesty are among them. I envy your friends and your family. They are lucky to have someone like you by their side. Thank you again from myself, my wife (Katie), our daughter (Elle) Growler, and of course Bob (Boboli). We named him after the pizza bread. It just sort of evolved that way and it's cute lol. Also thank you again to the staff. May you all have a wonderful holiday season!
