The staff here are awful. They show zero concern for your pet, they don't explain anything, they don't listen to your concerns, the follow ups are non-existent. Seems like Dr. Kahn is the only actual adult in the building that's ran by a bunch of literal children. He didn't listen to anything I was telling him during my appointment, all they did was take her blood and send me on my way. Told me I'd have the results the next day and that they'd call me, they never did. I had to reach out to them just for them to tell me the results are still pending and that they'd send them the following day, but they never did. Also failed to mention they close at 11 am so when we called, there was no answer. My cat is on the verge of dying and they've shown little to no urgency. Don't waste your time or money here. Edit: They called me the following day and my cat ended up passing away later that night. If you love your pet, do NOT go here.

TLDR: Staff lack concern, little discussion on possible diagnosis/tests, not recomended for cats, they want your $$$ ETA: Went on Monday, got results Thursday. Cat died Thursday night. They called Friday to follow up and issued full refund. I recently brought my cat to Lakeshore Veterinary Clinic for concerning symptoms, including not eating, eye discharge lasting more than a week, loss of energy, voice, and stumbling while walking. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The staff seemed minimally concerned with these symptoms, despite the obvious severity of my cat's condition. They barely asked any questions, just took her temperature, and didn't seem to acknowledge the possible seriousness of the situation. I suspected conjunctivitis or cat flu and requested blood work. The vet assured me the results would be ready the following morning, but after two days and two calls from me, I still haven't received any updates. The vet also made no effort to discuss potential illnesses or recommend correlating tests to narrow down a diagnosis. Instead, I was handed a list of tests totaling $650, leaving me to decide which to choose. I opted for a blood test and a more in-depth one for $260, but I feel this lack of guidance and communication was frustrating. I came to Lakeshore based on glowing recommendations from family members with dogs, but after this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this clinic for cats. The staff seemed to lack passion for the health and well-being of feline patients. ChatGPT can make mistakes. Check important info.

Great experience staff was helpful and super knowledgeable. Have been to other vets in the area. Definitely glad we switched to this office

Update: a few months ago took our two kittens in that we got from a farm, a third one already had passed before we could get him in. He looked them over, gave them some meds and went home. We weren’t sure if Rocky would make it, but they both are doing great now. Good kitties, watched over my little girl when she was sick. And we even took them camping. ******* Tiko was obviously thrilled to be there. While on vacation one of the kids called starting he chipped a tooth and was bleeding. I got home and called, they made room to fit us in. Barely any wait time. Staff was courteous. Dr was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. He could have raked me over the coals, but instead said to soften his food and take away the bones and just watch him to make sure he’s eating. $40 and we went home. Been going there for years.

Do NOT waste your time here. They will overcharge you and when you have to take your animal back the next day because theyre in pain from a shot they got over 24 hours ago, all theyre gonna do is charge you the same amount the next day for some bloodwork. This place disgusts me. please dont give these people your money spend a little more and get your fur baby real care instead of a “quick” fix. they dont know what they’re doing. UPDATE: and then we go back to get a refund THEY called us and said we were supposed to get because we weren’t supposed to be charged for today and when we arrived nobody had any idea what we were talking about and had to wait 20 minutes for a $60 refund. Not to mention we asked if there was anything we could give our animal for pain that’s over the counter because the last medication they prescribed warned that it might give seizures, and all 5 of the underaged (and most likely under qualified) TEENAGERS. How unprofessional.
