Not accepting new patients. Which alone is fine! Half of the vets I called weren't. But it's no excuse to be rude to folks looking for vet services over the phone - just bc you don't need them. Of the 5 Sno Co area clinics I called that weren't accepting new patients, many were terse, but only this place was rude enough for me to leave a review about it. I guess it's for the best, bc it's not only the DVM that matters, but also the staff. To me, anyway.

Welcome to Katherine Johnson, D.V.M.
For pet owners in Mill Creek, Washington, and the surrounding areas searching for a "Pet Hospital Near Me," Katherine Johnson, D.V.M., located at 15704 Mill Creek Blvd #16, Mill Creek, WA 98012, USA, is a local veterinary care provider. They can be contacted at (425) 745-9733 or +1 425-745-9733. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the clinic based on the limited and somewhat contrasting customer feedback available online.
Regarding the acceptance of new patients, one recent review explicitly states that Katherine Johnson, D.V.M., is "Not accepting new patients." While the reviewer acknowledges that this is a common situation with many veterinary clinics, they express dissatisfaction with the phone interaction experienced when inquiring about services. According to this review, the staff member they spoke with was "rude" despite the clinic not needing new clients. The reviewer contrasts this with other clinics in the Sno Co area that were also not accepting new patients, noting that while many were terse, only this clinic's rudeness prompted them to leave a negative review. This experience highlights a potential concern regarding the initial point of contact and customer service for those seeking to become new patients.
In contrast, another review offers a positive description of the clinic's environment and staff. This customer found "The place was quiet, clean, friendly staff and just a homey atmosphere." This feedback paints a picture of a welcoming and comfortable setting for pets and their owners who are already established clients. The description of a quiet and clean environment is generally desirable in a veterinary clinic, as it can contribute to a sense of calm and hygiene. The mention of friendly staff further suggests positive interactions once a patient is established with the practice.
The services offered by Katherine Johnson, D.V.M., are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. However, as a veterinary practice operated by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, it can be reasonably inferred that the clinic provides general medical care for pets. This typically includes services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, treatment for illnesses and injuries, diagnostic procedures, and potentially surgical services. The absence of specific information about the range of services makes it challenging to provide a comprehensive overview in this aspect.
In terms of features, the contrasting reviews highlight two key aspects: the potential for negative initial interactions for those seeking to become new patients, and the positive experience of established clients regarding the clinic's environment and staff friendliness. The fact that the clinic is reportedly not accepting new patients is a significant piece of information for local users who are currently looking for a new veterinary provider. The positive feedback from an existing client suggests that those already under the care of Katherine Johnson, D.V.M., experience a comfortable and welcoming clinic with a friendly staff.
No promotional information, such as special offers for new clients (which would be irrelevant given they are reportedly not accepting new patients), loyalty programs, or specific service discounts, is mentioned in the provided reviews. Therefore, no objective information can be provided regarding this aspect of the clinic.
The limited and conflicting nature of the available reviews makes it difficult to form a comprehensive and entirely objective introduction. The negative feedback regarding the phone etiquette when inquiring about new patient status is a serious concern for potential clients. However, the positive feedback from a current client regarding the quiet, clean, and homey atmosphere, along with the friendly staff, suggests a positive experience for those already affiliated with the practice. It is important for local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating Katherine Johnson, D.V.M.
For individuals who are not currently clients and are searching for a "Pet Hospital Near Me," the reported lack of acceptance of new patients is the most critical piece of information. The negative experience of a potential new client regarding the phone interaction should also be taken into consideration as it reflects on the initial customer service. Conversely, the positive description of the clinic environment and staff friendliness from an existing client offers insight into the experience for those who are already patients. However, without further information about the range of services, the expertise of Dr. Johnson, or the typical patient experience beyond these limited reviews, a complete picture cannot be formed.
In conclusion, Katherine Johnson, D.V.M., in Mill Creek, WA, is reportedly not accepting new patients at this time. One potential new client reported a negative and rude phone interaction when inquiring about services. In contrast, a current client described the clinic as quiet, clean, and having a friendly staff with a homey atmosphere. Information regarding the specific veterinary services offered and any promotional activities is not available in the provided reviews. Local users should be aware of the clinic's current status regarding new patients and consider the contrasting feedback when making decisions about their pet's healthcare needs.
