Dr. Weintraub and her staff are always professional and at the same time they bring a personal touch to the care of our cats. We had to put our Miss D. down a few months ago and the care they gave to her AND us made the whole process less painful. They were a great comfort in a very sad day. Since then, we have brought a new cat into our lives and they did all the initial exams and tests immediately and we had the results before we even left the office. This is a great team who care about what they do and the animals they care for.

While specific details about the interior design or waiting area aesthetics of Jeronimo Pet Clinic are not readily available online, a typical modern pet hospital strives to create a welcoming and calming environment for both pets and their owners. You can expect a clean and organized space, designed to minimize stress for animals visiting for various procedures. This often includes separate waiting areas for different animal types, comfortable seating, and a generally quiet atmosphere to help ease any anxieties your pet might have. Examination rooms are typically well-equipped for thorough check-ups, and dedicated areas for diagnostics and procedures would be part of their operational setup.
As a full-service pet hospital, Jeronimo Pet Clinic is expected to offer a broad spectrum of veterinary services to cater to the diverse needs of their animal patients. These commonly include:
-
Routine Wellness Exams: Regular check-ups are crucial for preventive care, allowing veterinarians to detect potential health issues early. This includes physical examinations, vaccinations, and parasite control.
-
Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose illnesses, pet hospitals often utilize advanced diagnostic tools. This typically includes in-house laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal tests, as well as imaging services like X-rays and potentially ultrasound. These tools are vital for understanding an animal's internal health and guiding treatment plans.
-
Medical Treatment: For pets experiencing illness or injury, the clinic would provide various medical treatments, including prescribing medications, managing chronic conditions, and providing supportive care.
-
Surgical Procedures: Many pet hospitals offer a range of surgical services, from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries. These procedures are performed with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
-
Dental Care: Oral hygiene is as important for pets as it is for humans. Services would likely include dental cleanings, extractions, and addressing other oral health issues.
-
Emergency and Urgent Care: While not explicitly stated as an emergency-only clinic, most pet hospitals are equipped to handle urgent medical situations during their operating hours, providing immediate attention to pets in distress.
-
Nutritional Counseling: Advice on appropriate diets and weight management for pets can be a part of their holistic approach to animal health.
-
Behavioral Counseling: Guidance on common pet behavioral issues can help owners understand and address challenges, promoting a harmonious relationship between pets and their families.
Based on customer feedback, one prominent feature of Jeronimo Pet Clinic appears to be the **personal touch and professionalism** exhibited by Dr. Weintraub and her staff. One customer review highlights their compassionate approach, particularly during difficult times such as pet euthanasia, noting the comfort and care provided to both the pet and the grieving owners. This suggests a strong emphasis on empathy and support, recognizing the emotional bond between pets and their human companions. The ability to conduct initial exams and tests promptly, with results delivered quickly, indicates an efficient workflow and a commitment to providing timely information to pet owners. This efficiency can be a significant comfort to owners seeking answers regarding their pet's health.
However, it's also important to acknowledge that customer experiences can vary. Another review raises concerns about the clinic's billing practices and the necessity of certain diagnostic procedures. This review suggests a perception of high pricing for tests compared to other veterinarians and a reluctance to prescribe medication without extensive diagnostics, leading to frustration for some clients. This feedback points to the importance of open communication regarding treatment plans and associated costs, and perhaps a need for the clinic to clearly articulate the rationale behind recommended diagnostics to address client concerns about value and necessity.
While specific current promotional offers are not available in the provided information, veterinary clinics often engage in various forms of promotion to attract and retain clients. This can include:
-
New Client Specials: Offering discounts on initial exams for new patients to encourage them to try the clinic's services.
-
Preventive Care Packages: Bundling services like vaccinations, deworming, and routine check-ups into cost-effective packages.
-
Seasonal Promotions: Offering discounts on services relevant to specific times of the year, such as dental cleanings during dental health awareness month or flea and tick prevention during warmer seasons.
-
Referral Programs: Incentivizing existing clients to refer new ones.

The clinic appears to prioritize thorough diagnostics, aiming to understand the root cause of health issues. For pet owners who value a personal and comforting approach, particularly during challenging health situations, the clinic seems to offer a supportive experience. However, it is always advisable for pet owners to have a clear discussion about treatment plans and associated costs upfront to ensure alignment with their expectations and budget. Getting a detailed breakdown of services and explaining any concerns can help foster a transparent and trusting relationship with the veterinary team.

Oct 20, 2019 · Peter GreinerThis vet is crooked and charged for unnecessary procedures. The vet takes advantage of people who love their pets. My cat was congested and had fluid in her lungs and would not prescribe any medicine till we agreed to pay $800 for diagnostics. We finally got an antibiotic and diuretic and wallah she is better in 24 hours. Please watch her she is all about the money prescribing tests that are excessively priced compared to other vets.
Jul 08, 2023 · Jeff FishbeinI love Jeronimo Pet Clinic! They took great care of our cat, Dante. The staff goes above and beyond. The artwork adds an extra ambiance. The rooms were clean and it doesn't smell like some vets' offices. I highly recommend them for your fur babies!
