They were amazing with my daughters puppy. As the other vet in town was out of town for the next week or so. He treated my daughters puppy immediately while she was sick and she is doing excellent now. So I will use this vet no matter what.

Services

Based on the strong positive reviews, Jenkins Stanley DVM provides a range of veterinary services, with a notable emphasis on compassionate and responsive care for common pet ailments and emergencies:

  • Immediate and Urgent Care: A standout service, as evidenced by the case of the sick puppy who received immediate treatment when another local vet was unavailable. This suggests they are well-equipped to handle acute illnesses and injuries that require prompt attention, preventing conditions from worsening.

  • General Veterinary Care for Dogs and Cats: Reviewers mention care for both dogs and cats, indicating that they provide comprehensive services for common companion animals. This would typically include:

    • Wellness exams and preventive care (vaccinations, parasite control).
    • Diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses and minor injuries.
    • Routine check-ups and health assessments.
  • Compassionate Treatment: Clients consistently praise Dr. Jenkins for "always taking very good care of my animals" and "always doing everything he can to help my dog and cats." This points to a thorough and dedicated approach to veterinary medicine, ensuring that pets receive the best possible care within the clinic's capabilities.

  • Support for Community Animal Welfare: The fact that "The Humane Society in Okmulgee also uses Dr. Jenkins as their go-to veterinarian" highlights his involvement and trusted role in broader animal welfare efforts. This suggests that he provides essential veterinary services to rescued animals, potentially including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and treatment for various conditions, contributing significantly to the health of adoptable pets in the region.

While the reviews focus on general care and urgent situations for small animals, a established veterinary practice typically offers a broader array of services such as basic surgical procedures (e.g., spay/neuter), dental care, and diagnostic imaging. However, without specific information, we can only infer these common veterinary services based on the "Pet Hospital" category and positive client feedback.

Features

Jenkins Stanley DVM distinguishes itself with several key features that contribute to its strong reputation and client loyalty:

  • High Responsiveness and Accessibility: The ability to treat a sick puppy "immediately" when other options were exhausted is a critical feature. This demonstrates a commitment to being available for urgent needs, which is invaluable for pet owners. The consistent availability of Dr. Jenkins, even in a town where other vets might be "out of town," positions him as a reliable go-to veterinarian.

  • Compassionate and Dedicated Care: Clients repeatedly emphasize the caring nature of Dr. Jenkins and his staff, noting how he "always doing everything he can to help my dog and cats." This focus on the individual well-being of each animal fosters trust and peace of mind for pet parents.

  • Flexible Payment Options: A remarkable and highly appreciated feature is the willingness to "allow you to make payments if you need to go ahead and have something done to your pet that they may need urgently, and allow you to pay it back with installments." This flexibility is a significant benefit, especially during unexpected emergencies, making necessary veterinary care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners regardless of immediate financial constraints. This sets them apart from many clinics that require upfront payment or third-party financing.

  • Community Trust and Recognition: The endorsement from the Okmulgee Humane Society, stating that they "also uses Dr Jenkins as their go-to veterinarian," is a powerful testament to his trustworthiness and competence within the wider community. This indicates that professional organizations with high standards for animal care rely on his services.

  • Consistent Positive Outcomes: The puppy that was "sick and she is doing excellent now" and the long-term satisfaction of clients whose animals have "always taken very good care of" speak to consistent positive health outcomes for the pets under their care.

Promotional Information

While Jenkins Stanley DVM may not advertise extensive traditional promotions, their operational model and reputation provide compelling benefits that serve as powerful promotional tools:

  • Flexible Payment Plans: The willingness to allow clients to "make payments" and "pay it back with installments" is a significant "promotional" aspect, making essential veterinary care financially accessible. This stands out in an industry where cost can often be a barrier to timely treatment, particularly for emergencies. It's a direct, practical benefit that addresses a common concern for pet owners.

  • Reliability and Availability: The consistent theme of being available and responsive, even when other vets are not, acts as a strong draw. For pet owners facing an urgent situation, the knowledge that "he treated my daughters puppy immediately" is far more valuable than a discount on a routine service. This reliability is a core value proposition.

  • Strong Community Endorsement: The fact that the Okmulgee Humane Society trusts Dr. Jenkins is a powerful form of endorsement. This institutional trust translates into confidence for individual pet owners, indicating a high standard of care and ethical practice.

  • Word-of-Mouth Referrals: The highly positive reviews and the statement "I will use this vet no matter what" demonstrate an exceptionally high level of client satisfaction and loyalty. Such strong word-of-mouth referrals are often the most effective form of promotion for local businesses, built on consistent positive experiences.

I didn't personally go there on this date, but he is still my go-to veterinarian. He has always taken very good care of my animals. Always doing everything he can to help my dog and cats. He also will allow you to make payments if you need to go ahead and have something done to your pet that they may need urgently, and allow you to pay it back with installments. Also, I know that The Humane Society in Okmulgee also uses Dr Jenkins as their go-to veterinarian. If the Humane Society cannot do it themselves. So he is well trusted within our community.

Jenkins has always been used by our family. He's very knowledgeable about pet care. We finally got a puppy so jenkins was going to be our go to. After calling for pricing and appointments, we decided against it. The other staff are extremely rude and hateful. It's not the first time I've called and it's been like this either. Jenkins has customers because of his great reputation and he could probably have alot of new customers as well if it wasn't for the rudeness of the other staff.

Horrible, cruel vet. Took a very old dog to him who has arthritis and he refused any type of pain reliever. Took the dog to another vet who could not understand the cruelty of Stanley. If he was the only vet in okla, I would drive out of state to find a different vet.

My cat was very sick and he was beyond hopes of recovery. Dr Jenkins gave me honest advice of all the pro and cons and I had to choose to put him down. Staff were very helpful and supportive of my grief. Dr Jenkins as well. Very good veterinarian facility.
