I went in very late with my senior dog Thor, he had been having trouble that day. The staff were kind and helpful, they did some X-RAYS and walked me through each of them so I could see the issue. They explained the process that would need to happen and even put together an estimate for me. I didn't realize it would be over $5k for the surgery and hospitalization, and being that it was something he needed that night I had to say goodbye. The staff were extremely helpful in the process, and made sure to let me take all the time I needed to hold him one last time. They explained everything as it happened and carefully carried him off. They were all very supportive and mentioned that it was a kind, peaceful passing. I got a sympathy card in the mail as well, which was so thoughtful. All through the process Thor was calm and content, I'm glad he had a kind staff to care for him, and I'm glad I had a kind staff to reassure me it was for the best. Thank you.

I brought my cat Benny in for a fractured leg. The services were great and I had nothing but positive things to say about the staff. Now, I have to mention that the wait time can be quite long because this is an emergency hospital. And they prioritize life saving operation first. I understand completely and have no complaints about this. The staffs were very nice and kind, and also understanding. The price would have been quite high for me and my husband had it not been because of our insurance, but it is for my baby and I would have paid anyways. But since I am mostly covered, I feel very very happy with the visit. Thank you everyone! Now, I am gonna show you Benny.

The staff here saved my sweet girls life. She was extremely sick and I felt letting her go was the most humane thing I could do for her. My heart was broken believing that was the best option for her, I’d never want any of my babies to suffer. Dr Cheever offered basically a last resort and by the grace of God, it worked!! Rue and I are extremely grateful. She is her sweet and spunky self again! Thank you hardly seems enough!! My heart is so very thankful I brought her here. My dogs are my best friends❤️

Horrible I mean horrible service . I brought in a 2 week old kitten who was extremely weak. Hope came to us quickly and told us what she was going to do . And told us she doesn’t think this would be an end of life situation . That was a relief . We waited about 2 hours before Dr. Sayre seen us and they sat us in the euthanasia room . We thought maybe it was because the rooms were already taken . She comes in and said “he’s dying you have 3 options but honestly the first one is expensive and he’s not worth the minimum 2,000 bill. You could also take him home and do extensive care of feeding every 15 minutes and that means you can’t sleep , or leave him alone , and the final is we put him down and that’s what I recommend” Then she proceeded to brag about how she breeds dogs that have breathing issues and they die all the time and she knows what she’s doing and told us we can get 4 show quality cats for the price of the vet bills we have on him already. She also slid in the fact that we should just adopt a healthy cat and not take in the sick and dying ones. We said we’re taking him home to give him a chance because he fought this long he can do it again with proper instructions and medication. We leave the room and Hope came out and told us his body temp was getting better and she was going to tube feed him . We told her what Dr. Sayre told us and she was shocked at the information she told us and assured us that he’s not at the end of life stage he just needs a lot of attention and commitment to make it. And she walked us through everything . Hope was amazing by far she actually cared and gave us the time out of her night to help not only our kitten but also us. She gave us the hope (no pun intended) on our baby kitten. I honestly wished I could give a better star review but Dr. Sayre ruined the hospital for us for the final time. But hope she’s a great vet tech and has such a huge heart for animals. 1 week update - he’s still alive and thriving to the point he’s gained weight , eating 10x more than he was. We never gave up on him unlike the vet who wanted to end his life that night 2 month update - he’s 4 pounds no eye infection and is in perfect health 7 month update - He’s alive and in perfect health still… pay the price and go to blue pearl at least their vets treat you and you pet with dignity and respect

I came here late on a Thursday after my dog's regular vet completely dismissed her symptoms (bloody stools) when she started vomiting blood. The staff was absolutely amazing. My 10 year old Annie can be quite difficult: she has hip dysplasia, anxiety, and is generally terrified of strangers (especially men) and non-carpeted floors. They treated her with kindness and grace, and respectful of her autonomy. They helped her walk through the nontextured parts that scared her. I am absolutely considering having them as her regular vets. She hadn't been eating or using the bathroom while they had her hospitalized, and they offered for me to come visit and bring her her food. She perked right up much to our relief. After discussing it with the discharge vet, I decided to bring her home. While under their care, I received regular personalized updates, I could tell she was getting the attention that she needed based off her behavior mentioned in the notes. My beloved difficult babydog. She is older, and in spite of her health issues is quite vibrant for her age, with hopefully more years to go. Dr. Shumar and Dr. Keel were amazing. To all the staff here, thank you for helping us. Yes the emergency care is expensive, it was almost 3k for her to be hospitalized for 24 hours. It's sad that this can be a barrier for many people. It was worth it for us. Thank you again.
