Been coming here for a few years now.. I brought my dog in this morning because he had a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth. They did such a good job with him. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.

As a local Pet Hospital, James Ted Cundiff, DVM aims to be a trusted partner in ensuring the health and happiness of your animal companions. While specific details about the clinic's environment are not explicitly provided, it is common for such facilities to maintain a clean and comfortable setting for both pets and their owners. You can likely expect designated areas for examinations, potential surgical procedures, and possibly recovery. The focus is typically on creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere to minimize stress for animals visiting the hospital.
The services offered at James Ted Cundiff, DVM, as a Pet Hospital, are likely to encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care. Based on the positive customer review, it is evident that the clinic is capable of handling urgent medical situations, such as the removal of a lodged foreign object. This suggests that they are equipped to deal with acute health issues requiring immediate attention and intervention. It is reasonable to infer that the clinic also provides general veterinary services, which may include routine check-ups, vaccinations, preventative care (such as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention), dental care, nutritional counseling, and potentially diagnostic services like blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds. More complex medical or surgical procedures might also be offered, depending on the clinic's facilities and Dr. Cundiff's expertise.
Features of James Ted Cundiff, DVM, as highlighted by the customer feedback, present a mixed perspective. One significant positive feature is the perceived competence and effectiveness in treating animal health issues, as demonstrated by the successful removal of the stick from the dog's mouth. This suggests a level of professional skill and care that inspires confidence in at least some clients. The mention of recommending the clinic to others further underscores this positive aspect of their service delivery.
However, another review points out a potential area for improvement concerning client wait times and communication. The experience described involved a considerably longer wait than expected, attributed partly to waiting for a vet in surgery (which is understandable) but also to staff engaging in conversations with other people. This resulted in a delay in receiving necessary treatments and medication, ultimately causing the client to miss an appointment. While the reviewer noted that the cost was not high, the negative impact on their time and schedule outweighed this aspect, leading to a decision not to return. This feedback highlights the importance of efficient workflow, timely service delivery, and respectful management of clients' time in a service-oriented environment like a Pet Hospital.
Promotional information is not explicitly available in the provided text. Typically, a Pet Hospital might promote its services through various channels, such as local advertising, online presence (website or social media), community involvement, or special offers for new clients or specific services. To gain insight into any current promotions or specific service packages offered by James Ted Cundiff, DVM, interested local users would likely need to contact the clinic directly via phone or visit their physical location.
In conclusion, James Ted Cundiff, DVM, operating as a Pet Hospital in Beattyville, KY, appears to offer essential veterinary care services, with at least one positive report highlighting their effectiveness in handling urgent medical needs. However, potential clients should be aware of the feedback regarding extended wait times and communication issues experienced by another customer. For local users seeking a Pet Hospital, it may be beneficial to contact James Ted Cundiff, DVM directly to inquire about their specific services, environment, appointment procedures, and any current promotions to make an informed decision about their pet's healthcare needs.

Jan 26, 2025 · selena howardOur usual vet was on vacation so we had to take our dog here. They took FOREVER to get her checked out so she could get going because they were too busy chatting with other people. What should have been half an hour at our normal vet took almost 2 hours. Some of the time we understood because it was waiting for the vet that was in surgery (20 minutes), but the rest was just waiting for our dog's shot and medicine and to pay. She missed an appointment simply because they were busy chatting with other people. At least the cost wasn't bad, but we wont go here again. Please be respectful of your clients time.
Jun 25, 2024 · Mitchell Miller (Jeriath)They got me right in with no wait time because I called ahead. They also let me pay payments on bill as needed. I have a lot of animals so I'm glad to have a great place to take them for any health issues. As for getting cats/dogs fixed, I go through low income project called Hip2Snip in Hazard. I highly recommend this if you have multiple animals that need fixed and not a lot of money. Thanks again to all those who help our animals be the healthiest they can be, they our our fur babies that are absolutely family to us!!!
Apr 12, 2024 · crystal ritchieWe couldn't ask for better care of our fur babies! Sheyanne is a sweetheart. Her and Ryan do everything they can to help take care of animals. Have recommended their services to many and will continue to do so. Thank you guys for being the wonderful people that are! ❤️
Mar 23, 2024 · ANN ROSEI have had several cats neutered at this vet clinic. They are friendly, helpful, and kind. Teddy was an awesome vet that truly cared for animals. The new vet is great and the techs are wonderful.
