super great staff, animals always are cared for. the evening receptionist was very sweet to me and my fathers dog. she was very efficient and got us taken care of in no time. very bright personality and very friendly. another reason to continue to be a patient at this clinic.

Client - Bob I was not going to make a review almost a year and some change later, but the ongoing tragedy from taking my cat here breaks my heart every day. Took my cat here July 2023 here and spent almost $200 for a visit that did not feel very thorough. Was told my cat had grown a pimple of some sort, and gave me medication that did not work. In the time that I waited for it to get better, it only grew worse. Took my cat elsewhere, where they gave Bob surgery for the mass he grew on his forehead, but told me that because it was big when I took him in, that they were afraid it would most likely return; since they were unable to remove it completely. A year later, it did just that. This time it grew bigger, and unable to remove, without radiation treatment. He has endured enough pain, that I just do not have the heart to do that to him again. I have no doubt in my mind, bob would be in a different situation had the vet even lasted 15 more minutes with him. Offered to do tests on his blood / skin - like the other clinic did. I would have spent whatever money I had to then to avoid putting him down during the holiday this year. Absolutely gutted. I’m sure mistakes happen in every field, but the level of carelessness I felt, even in July last year, should be a reason this place should go through extensive training on taking minor issues more seriously.

Dr. Vague has been wonderful to us and our sweet dog, Molly. She diagnosed her cancer and worked with us coming up with palliative care since Molly was an old dog. Today with the help of Dr. Vague and staff Molly went to doggy heaven. She was very compassionate and caring through Molly's last journey. We cannot say that we appreciated Jackson County Animal Clinic enough. Much love and thank you! The Maos

I wouldn't even give a one if I didn't have to..I got a dog from a person that took him to this vet I needed he's flea meds I asked her if there was a deal on them and there is if you buy a six pack ...she said she why them ready I drove an hour away to get there and they gave me three for $105 instead.of the six pack which is a lot cheaper she said they couldn't do that because he was due for an exam in November I knew right away it's a money scam they don't care about you're.pet it's all about the money I have never ever gotten that from any vet ever they didn't even apologize or even offer me a deal for the Three...there just nice to take you're money that's it horrible horrible receptionist bad vibes I will never go there again and they don't care because there in Seymour they can take all the elderly money and the rich people go to southern Indiana equine in scottsburg indiana.its worth it guy's....or Benny Moore in Salem Indiana he is.awesome and the staff is amazing and they care.of course they take care of you they need your money lol.

The ladies are always extra nice to my little Ginger. I've been going there for 12 years. The vets are always very clear about recommendations and very helpful. I have no reason to go any other place. Just wish they were closer to town.

The Drs here are very knowledgeable and do a thorough job, unfortunately the front desk ladies, one in particular is very rude and acts like she can't be bothered, so unfortunately I won't be returning, I can go somewhere else and not have to deal with rude people and pay less for the same thing
