Our dog was not well and in pain. We did not have a regular vet but needed help. Dr. Ivan and the staff were kind and understanding. They were gentle and patient with our tears. Due to his size and amount of pain, Dr. Ivan got down on the floor with him to ease him gently from this life. They are amazing.

Dr. Laura Ivan is a great vet, and I trust her care for my basset hound. She takes time during the appt to thoroughly care for her animal patients and to touch base with the humans of these furbabies. I highly recommend Ivan Animal Hospital!

please please please NEVER take your animals here. My husband and I have been taking our puppy to Ivan animal hospital for about a month now. Loved our first visit with Dr. Wu. Then Dr. Wu was not in the office and we had to get put on the schedule with Dr. Ivan. she tells us at this appointment that we needed to be feeding my puppy 3 cups of food in the morning and 3 at night. We did this for about a week until I noticed my puppy’s stomach to be severely bloated and very hard to the touch. Then it progresses to her not eating, puking, and having diarrhea. We decided to call the emergency vet in brentwood due to the severity of the bloating. They advised us to come in so they could examine her. After x-rays and examining her they found her stomach packed with food. So much so that her stomach grew 2x the size it is normally and making it hard for her to move around. I told the vet tech how much food Dr. Ivan told us to feed her she was shocked and said that was entirely to much food to feed our girl. She had to get fluids, anti nausea medication, pain medication and can not eat for 24hrs due to Dr. Ivan being uneducated. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I rescued a black tabby cat with a hernia the size of a tennis ball, ear and eye problems not to mention his advanced age. Took him to Ivan AH hoping they wouldn't suggest putting him down. Dr Wu eagerly told me he would be ok, recommended surgery and gave me lots of hope for a good outcome. She did great things to this little cat. Today he is loved by the entire household and is doing great. Dr Wu has helped me with all my questions, gave detailed instructions on ear care both verbal and written. I would recommend Dr Wu for ANY cat problems. She is knowledgeable, (a great surgeon) and I have her to thank for saving this sweet little cat. Ivan AH has been great for all my animals.

I drive from St. Louis to Ivan Animal Hospital. Everyone is so nice and my dog had ACL surgery and the vet did a great job. Very caring staff. Worth the drive
