Took our new puppy in for her first appointment and shots. The staff were very thorough with the exam and explained all prices and procedures in detail. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Prices were reasonable and comparable. We will continue to transition all of our animals to this clinic.

I was offended by the veterinary clinic I had taken my dogs to 15 years when I called for an urgent appointment, and they wanted a $50 deposit to "schedule an appointment". I was used to driving 30 miles to take my dogs there, and always received kind compassionate care, but I felt requiring me to make a deposit just to make an appointment was disrespectful. I had NEVER missed an appointment, been late, nor failed to pay in full at time of service. I said "No thanks" and started letting my "fingers do the walking". (old people will know what that means. Tehe!) I came across IVH and was pleased to notice they are almost within walking distance of my home. The very sweet person on the phone even offered me an appointment the same day! She told me exactly what I would be charged for the services and assured me no additional services would be done without my approval. I had to work, so I took the next available appointment, which was the next morning. I can only say from there my precious dog and I have been treated with the utmost care and compassion. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was not good. The course of treatment and alternatives were explained clearly, and my questions were listened to and answered. A clear and precise estimate of the costs was presented and seems to be a fair cost for what needed to be done. My little guy had surgery yesterday. He is recovering well, and I feel 100% confident in the treatment he received. Thank you to the entire staff of Intercity Veterinary Hospital for being there, your kindness and compassion, and obvious love of animals.

We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for over 20 yrs . Dr Sehkon is an excellent Surgeon and explains every procedure to its fullest! He just did our 10 yr olds cranial crucial ligament repair. No surprise fee’s very fair prices and Dr Sehkon is very personable.

Posting the email I sent them that i never received a response to since i believe it explains best what happened. I cant see myself trusting this vet ever- highly recommend going elsewhere- " Hi, I have actually decided to go with another provider at this time. When I came in for Khabib I was told without any tests or x rays that he without a doubt broke his tail and needed it amputated- I asked if x-rays should be taken and was told that it would only cost me money and just confirm what they already knew. They then told me that x-rays would be done at my next apt at the time of his tail amputation due to routine procedures. This entire time I have been saving up and financially preparing for his tail to be amputated as well as submitting time off from work so I could care for him when that happened. After taking him to the ER vet this week they took an x ray of his tail with his bladder and let me know that his tail was most definitely not broken and they were shocked anyone would think so and advise an amputation since it was so clear to them without an x ray that it was a dermatitis issue and not a tail issue itself. Because of this I am going to find it very hard to trust that your doctor will actually be doing what is in the best interest of my dog. My new vet I will be seeing will be contacting you for the records of his previous visit, please make sure those get over to them. Thank you,"
