Found this specialist for my dog after the University of Florida animal hospital was booked solid for months. IVS was great! The doctors were friendly and knowledgeable, had great skills and made me completely comfortable. My dog did end up needing surgery. The surgeon sat on the floor with us and talked about her kids who were her pets. I couldn't have been more confident in her ability and my dogs surgery was smooth. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who needed extended care for their pets(kids).

His patient was misdiagnosed and given meds that would've taken this dogs life. A second opinion led to the correct diagnosis and a life was saved. 100% do not recommend.
Nov 13, 2024 · Amy ODr. Clemmons is the absolute worst neurologist you could EVER go to? He misdiagnosed my dog, by not being able to read his own MRI. Be aware none of his MRIs are sent out to a board certified radiologist to read, which is the normal practice of care. Then Dr. Clemmons took zero responsibility for the mistake, which resulted in permanent long-term damage. Do not think for one moment that Dr. Clemmons or this practice cares one bit about your precious pet! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
Nov 05, 2024 · Shannon MurphyDr. Clemmons misdiagnosis and subsequent treatment could have easily led to his patient’s death. Thankfully multiple veterinarians recommended to get a second opinion and finally the correct diagnosis was made, saving the dog’s life. Dr. Clemmons did not send out the MRI to a board certified radiologist which is a standard of any practice. Instead of helping correct mistakes he has taken zero responsibility for his errors.
Nov 13, 2024 · Christa BlackDr. Clemmons is not concerned with the welfare of his patients. He misdiagnoses and takes zero responsibility for his inability to read MRI- or yet worse, not caring to do so. Then when a pet has a terrible diagnosis, they will not do anything to try to make this right. Stay away if you love your pets.
