My only regret, is not writing A review sooner. Yes, the cost of a surgery is not inexpensive. Thankfully, we had pet insurance, which lowered the final cost 70%. Our five month old American Bulldog jumped out of a moving vehicle, we immediately took her to the closest emergency veterinarian. Unfortunately, they did not have the capacity to perform the surgery that was needed immediately. It was going to take at least 2 weeks for them at the earliest. Like often is said, everything happens for a reason. Because of their inability to perform the surgery I did some research on the web, then found IEVSS & Dr. B. Turns out, the emergency veterinary told me they refer and outsource to Dr. B regularly. Dr. B was able to see us and perform the surgery 2 days later. The staff was very friendly and professional. Front desk explained everything clear, was knowledgeable, and the coffee machine, waters, and drinks in the lobby definitely helped during the stressful time as well. The doctor and nurses were also very friendly, clearly communicated, and the total cost ended up being less than the emergency veterinary quoted me to perform the surgery (which I would have waited at least 2 more weeks for). The recovery process was not easy. We followed the same recovery instructions to the strictest standards. This meant a lot of time, sweat, and dedication. It all paid off and she is now 100 % recovered. Thanks Dr. B and IEVSS staff for all your help.

Based on feedback from real customers, Inland Empire Veterinary Surgical Specialty stands out for its exceptional surgical skills, compassionate staff, and supportive environment. While the cost of specialized surgery can be a concern, one reviewer highlighted the significant benefit of pet insurance, which substantially reduced their financial burden. This underscores the importance of considering pet insurance to help manage unexpected veterinary expenses.

One particularly compelling experience shared by a pet owner involved their five-month-old American Bulldog who required urgent surgery after an accident. Initially taken to a local emergency veterinarian, they faced a significant delay of at least two weeks for the necessary procedure. This situation led the owner to research alternative options, ultimately discovering IEVSS and Dr. B. Remarkably, the emergency veterinarian themselves regularly refers complex surgical cases to Dr. B, indicating a high level of trust and confidence in his expertise. IEVSS was able to schedule the surgery just two days later, a testament to their responsiveness and capacity to handle critical cases efficiently.

The reviewer praised the IEVSS staff for their friendliness and professionalism. The front desk team was commended for their clear explanations and knowledge, helping to alleviate stress during a difficult time. The availability of amenities such as a coffee machine, water, and other drinks in the lobby further contributed to a more comfortable waiting experience. The doctors and nurses were also described as friendly and communicative, ensuring the pet owner was well-informed throughout the process. Notably, the total cost of the surgery at IEVSS was even lower than the initial quote provided by the emergency veterinarian, despite the significantly shorter waiting time.

The recovery period following surgery is crucial, and the reviewer emphasized the importance of diligently adhering to the provided instructions. Their dedication and effort paid off, resulting in their dog making a full 100% recovery. This positive outcome speaks volumes about the quality of surgical care provided by Dr. B and the post-operative guidance offered by the IEVSS team.

Another satisfied customer shared their positive experience with IEVSS when their dog required Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery, a common procedure to address cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries in dogs. Dr. Miller is specifically mentioned for thoroughly explaining the procedure and the expected healing process in detail, ensuring the pet owner felt informed and prepared. The staff is again described as kind and courteous, further reinforcing the positive and supportive atmosphere at the clinic. The reviewer even included a heartfelt "thank you" from their dog, Hiro, highlighting the successful outcome of the surgery and the positive impact on their pet's well-being.

IEVSS was a great help my dog when he needed TPLO surgery. Dr. Miller explained everything in detail to help us understand what was going on and what to expect during the healing process. Staff was kind and courteous. Hiro says thank you!

Dr. Miller - AMAZING! We came here for a 2nd opinion for our dog’s TPLO surgery. Dr. Miller spent an hour with me during the consultation explaining the surgery, recovery, what to expect, etc. The office staff was answering emails after hours, as I was a concerned dog mama and ran into some recovery “scares.” Unexpected to hear back overnight but so appreciated. They took the anxiety out of the whole process, were beyond thorough, set and exceeded expectations, and our boy was back to “normal” after a few short 8 weeks. The office staff is ON IT, along with the vet techs to the doctors. The vet techs sit with you and get acquainted with your pup before taking them for an exam and NOT ONCE did my dog hesitate. Every other place we’ve taken him, he tries to pull out of his harness to come back to me. A true sign they hire smart and loving vet techs. I hope we never have to return, but if we do, it would be here vs our vet or any other business. Thank you team, you made the very stressful experience bearable for a worrisome and scared dog mama.

The doctors and staff were wonderful! I have a sweet pitbull but when she's in pain she can be difficult. They handled her so well and she was even excited to do the follow up visits. She's healing fine from a torn ligament.

The surgeon was amazing. She explained everything perfectly felt really comfortable with her. It was a bit pricey, but the tec on the other hand wrapped my dogs leg too tight a day after the surgery I had to take her to the vet my regular vet, and the vet even said that her leg was wrapped too tight if you can get the surgeon to do all the work herself wrap surgery everything I would suggest going here otherwise see if the surgeon will meet you at another office
