Never ever EVER support this horrible establishment. I’ve been a dog breeder for 5 years and have used multiple different vets for different types of appointments. I am located out of state and had to do everything remotely. This has never been an issue with any litter of mine. I called and made an appointment last week and the lady who made the appointment KNEW I was a new customer and did not give me any information regarding cost or their policies. Today I had a litter of puppies seen and got the call to pay. This was normal. The lady gave me an update on my puppies and then gave me the total…. $550+!!!! I about passed out. For my puppies to be seen, given wormer, and one vaccine each. Then I asked for a breakdown of costs. She went on to say that there was an office visit PER PUPPY, which I have NEVER been charged. Every other vet has 1 office fee for a litter. Then she went on to tell me that there was a $40 fee for a flight certificate. I asked about this and she said “well, we discounted it, but it’s because we had to do extra paperwork” excuse me? I’ve flown puppies all over the country try and NEVER been charged for a flight certificate when I’m already at the vet’s office. She went on to say “well, it was supposed to be more. We gave you a $25 discount” what? Y’all have lost your minds!!!! She then got very snippy with me and would not let me speak to anyone in leadership and demanded I pay the amount or bring back the paperwork. She said the cost reflected what they had to use on the puppy, which was shots and wormer, which was all charged separately, so there’s another lie. THEN I find out they came and grabbed each puppy INDIVIDUALLY instead of doing a litter check and did not allow the lady who had them there for me in the room during their exam. They made the lady helping me with this litter WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM instead of seeing them in an exam room. How am I to even know the exam was completed correctly? I will never do business with this horrible establishment again and I warn you to consider this your warning. They’d probably let your dog die before giving it proper care and then charge you for their inconvenience. Horrible practices and horrible customer service. This place was a one and done for me! Never again!

Feb 24, 2025 · shawn perkinsI have been taking my dog here for almost 14 years. Regardless of what some people post on here, Dr. Tracy Leonard has been nothing short of great. It recently became time for my boy to pass on. She was great and my boy Tyson felt no pain. She and her staff understand what we go through as per owners. I will take my next dog there for their entire life. I hope the staff sees this and knows how much I appreciate you all!
May 20, 2024 · Bryan SealIf you don’t read anything past this line, please read this. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE. There are many issues with this vet clinic. As in previous 1 star reviews, you are separated from your pet during exams and while you wait for your pet you get to listen to the sarcastic unprofessional receptionist Becky check out customers and answer phone calls where she often belittles pet owners and if listening to her isn’t bad enough, you can also watch her roll her eyes constantly while speaking to customers. But this isn’t even the worst of it. Be prepared for the worst care you can imagine for your pet. We took our sweet girl to this vet clinic for the first time, our regular vet was booked out and we felt our dog’s condition warranted a quicker evaluation by a provider. We already had a good idea of her unfortunate diagnosis, as we are in the medical field, but needed confirmation and assistance with the proper tools and resources to keep our sweet girl pain free, comfortable. After her assessment our fears and suspicions were confirmed and she was diagnosed with terminal cancer given an unknown timeline in terms of life expectancy. We chose the palliative route with goals of keeping her comfortable at home. We were given antibiotics, steroids, specifically asked about pain mediation during this visit and were told the steroids will manage her pain. Being in the medical field and dealing w palliative care, I have NEVER treated cancer pain associated pain with steroids, however, I listened to the professional and decided to try the regimen recommended. 2 days later my dog was visibly uncomfortable and in worsening pain. I called the clinic back, explained how my dog was having worsening symptoms and needed something stronger to treat her pain. I was told there was nothing more they could offer to treat her pain and steroids were the strongest medication they carried. I asked about an online prescription that I could sent to a pharmacy, I literally begged for anything remotely stronger to help keep my precious dog from suffering. I was still told no and instructed to take her to a med vet hospital for a fentanyl patch. By this time, my 75 lb dog was no longer able to assist with any walking etc, would have been traumatic to get her in a vehicle and travel the long distance. I felt the lack of compassion to manage my dog’s pain and suffering was cruel. Not even a week from diagnosis we were required to put our precious girl down due to extreme pain and suffering at the hands of her disease. The 36 hours prior were the most traumatic awful hours I will likely ever experience as a pet owner and certainly could have been avoided. Does an animal who gets a surgical procedure completed here get steroids for post operative pain control? I hope not! ANYTHING would have been better than NOTHING. PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND OR TAKE YOUR SWEET BABIES HERE. I want to avoid ANY pet the same inhumane treatment our sweet girl received. Response to your response: I know you are understandably embarrassed by my experience. There is NO misinformation being spread. What was said above is exactly what occurred. There are other customers who have left reviews on lack of pain control for their pets, clearly an issue. The DEA actually prefers ALL narcotic scripts submitted online, but if that is the excuse for not treating her pain, why not hand me a written script right then when she was evaluated, when asked? There is a reason you are not able to prescribe scheduled pain medications, no other explanation as to why you would request me to take my pet to another establishment to get proper pain control after she was just assessed by YOU, 2 days prior. If you knew you couldn't treat her symptoms, knowing they would worsen, why wouldn't you communicate that as soon as you made the diagnosis? At the end of the day, what happened is terrible, but none of this changes the fact she suffered. What I can hopefully prevent is anyone I know having to go through the same experience here. Use this feedback to make meaningful changes to your practice.

Sep 20, 2024 · Doug ShirleyResponse to your response: **I know you are understandably embarrassed by my experience. I want to be clear that there is NO miscommunication being spread here. this is EXACTLY what occurred, and of note, other customers have also written in previous reviews their experiences with your clinic NOT PROVIDING pain medication to their pets who are suffering, it is clearly documented. Also, the DEA does allow for online narcotic prescribing unless there is a reason for not allowing such and if this is your excuse for letting her suffer, why not provide it when I was present in your clinic where you could have given us a paper script right then? I was told steroids would be used for pain control. Is there another reason you don't prescribe real pain medications?? In response to the calling me back, your staff clearly did not take time or effort to write down my phone number properly and therefore called back a wrong number.. easy solution...could have taken 2 extra seconds to call back the 2nd number provided on her chart to pass along this "information" but did not. At the end of the day, what happened here is terrible and no matter what is said, doesn't change the suffering my pet sustained at the end of her life.... what I can do now is make sure that no other pet and their owners have to be put through the same. clearly this clinic is not capable of treating pain, all you have to do is communicate that... I will continue to share this experience with everyone I know. Please take this feedback for one and only one reason and that is to give you the opportunity to make meaningful changes in your practice. "Response from the owner28 minutes ago" As I said on your sister's review, we are sorry to hear of Molly's passing. It is unfortunate that there was miscommunication between us. We recommended at the time (Friday afternoon) that if you thought Molly was in such extreme pain, that you needed to be seen at the emergency vet. Due to DEA restrictions, Dr. Leonard cannot prescribe the types of drugs you wanted for your dog, which I relayed to you. I left a message with the number provided, which I was told to call after speaking with Dr. Leonard. No one promised either of you that we were to call you back come Monday morning. I relayed multiple times that if you thought Molly was in such excruciating pain to take her to CARE Center or MedVet. Please do not spread misinformation like this on our business profile. Thank you, and we wish you luck with your future veterinarian.
