I took my bunny here to get spayed a couple months ago and completely forgot to write a review! Juliet, my bunny, was taken great care of! I would recommend taking your rabbit here to get them spayed/neutered for a great price! I paid $300 for her to get spayed. Other places such as Aspen in Loveland had quoted me at $2500 for her to get spayed as well as so many other places because of the risk with anesthesia. I was afraid that I had yo force a pill down her throat but that wasn't the case! All I had to give her was 3 liquid medications already syringed up in preparation. Thank you Boulder Humane Society for doing this!

Operating under the umbrella of the respected Humane Society of Boulder Valley, this veterinary hospital extends the organization's commitment to animal welfare by providing a range of medical services to the local pet community. The customer reviews highlight the hospital's affordability, specialized services, and compassionate approach, making it a noteworthy option for pet owners in Boulder and surrounding areas.

The environment at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley Veterinary Hospital is likely one that reflects the caring ethos of the larger organization. As a facility associated with a humane society, a strong emphasis on the well-being and comfort of animals is to be expected. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance are not provided, the positive feedback regarding the staff's interactions with pets and their responsiveness suggests a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The mention of a "team of lovely professionals who interact as beautifully with our pets as they do with us" indicates a staff that is both skilled and genuinely caring.

The services offered at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley Veterinary Hospital appear to include a focus on affordable spay and neuter procedures, particularly for rabbits. One reviewer shared their positive experience with their bunny's spay surgery, highlighting the significantly lower cost compared to quotes from other veterinary clinics in the region. This suggests that the hospital may offer subsidized pricing for certain essential procedures, making veterinary care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners. The successful spaying of a rabbit, often considered a higher-risk procedure due to anesthesia concerns, indicates a level of expertise and careful protocols in place.

Beyond spay and neuter services, as a Pet Hospital, it is reasonable to assume that the Humane Society of Boulder Valley Veterinary Hospital offers a range of other general veterinary services. These typically include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention (for fleas, ticks, heartworms, etc.), and treatment for common illnesses and minor injuries. The positive review mentioning the care of an adopted pet and the team's commitment to helping adopted pets "in all ways possible" suggests a dedication to supporting the health and well-being of rescued animals. This may indicate a special focus or expertise in the unique needs of adopted pets.

A significant feature of this veterinary hospital is its affordability, particularly for spay and neuter surgeries. The substantial price difference quoted for a rabbit spay compared to other clinics underscores this aspect. This commitment to providing cost-effective care can be a crucial factor for many pet owners, especially those on a limited budget or those adopting from shelters or rescue organizations. Another notable feature is the positive and responsive nature of the staff, as highlighted by the second reviewer. Their description of the team as "super responsive and committed to help our adopted pets" indicates a high level of client service and a genuine dedication to the animals they care for.

The positive experience with post-operative care for the rabbit spay is also noteworthy. The provision of pre-filled syringes with liquid medications and the avoidance of forcing pills down the rabbit's throat demonstrate a thoughtful and stress-reducing approach to administering medication. This attention to detail and consideration for the animal's comfort is a valuable feature of the hospital's care protocols.

While the reviews do not explicitly mention specific promotional offers, it is common for humane society-affiliated veterinary clinics to occasionally run special programs or discounts, particularly related to adoption events or community outreach initiatives. Awesome place to take your rabbit/s to get fixed!!!!! My girlfriend and I needed to get her Holland Lop spayed, we live in the fort collins area and all the vets we called quoted between $600 - $2000!!! No way we could afford that, but thank God we found this place, they quoted us around 350 for the surgery but when all was said and done I think we paid about 300. And it was only a 1 hour drive for us from the Front Range. We are so grateful and our bunny's behavior has improved a lot, no more peeing all over the apartment and she's not biting us anymore!

After two different vet visits, the vets at hsbv were so honest and told me exactly what they would do. Holiday weekend and my dog was so sick I thought he was going to die they helped him so much. I am forever grateful
