I will forever be grateful to this place and the staff, they went above and beyond for my family. We had a concern for a puppy and they stayed open late for us without us even asking. The staff and doctors were kind, compassionate and truly cared for our puppy and for us. They answered all the question they possibly could and arranged with a local emergency vet to take us in to help get better answers. This place cares, they went above and beyond out of the kindest of their heart, not for payment. One act of kindness can change so much. Thank you. We appreciate all of you and all that you do.

So I took my dog here back in July and they have to put her under anesthesia because she has been so traumatized and does get aggressive. She had a ruptured anal gland. They gave her an injection antibiotic with no follow up antibiotics or follow up appointments. The infection Never went away. I had to take the poor thing back in today so I think she was suffering this whole time. Not to mention, she had an awful experience from the reversal anesthesia that they did not even 20 minutes after they put her under. It was the worst experience I have ever had. When I called them after that happened they just kept saying that this was normal and I know that it wasn’t normal. She was squealing, didn’t recognize me, was hallucinating, fearful and was trying to run away from me. And it took a good couple weeks for her to get back to herself. She has suffered way too much already. I do not recommend this place!

17 years as a client and after moving I drive 45 minutes to continue getting my animals the BEST care. Dr. Renton, Dr. Lindamood, and Dr. Fischer are amazing! They have treated my many horses, cats, and dogs - always providing fantastic service. The staff is alway friendly and communicative.

I would give negative stars if I could. Let’s start with the fact I bring my two sick dogs in and the Dr says to me she’s sure my dog at home has just as bad teeth.. very condescending. (She doesn’t, she’s a lab) blood work was taken and they said everything looked good. Fast forward a few weeks and my one dog gets a urinalysis and she has severe diabetes. How was that missed in blood work??? I’m unable to get blood samples so I make an appointment to have a glucose curve done. They tell me they’ll have her all day and bring the insulin. I brought that and the syringes I had been using. They call me 4 hours in saying the syringes I brought were too small for my fat dog and they can’t continue. Mind you I wasn’t even told to bring syringes. If they were too small, why not use a needle you know would suit her better? When the dr calls me she says I can bring her in another time.. I already missed work in the morning to drop her off and now they want to do it all again? The response to me was “I’m sorry you’re aggravated “. I go to pick up my dog and I tell them I’m not paying because absolutely nothing was done by them and the old lady at the front says she will NOT release my dog to me. Absolutely crazy. Words were exchanged because no way in hell will MY dog NOT be released to me because I refuse to pay for something these incompetent people couldn’t do. RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE AND CONDESCENDING VETS.

I can’t thank Howell Animal Hospital enough. I took my 11 year old black lab there when his paw was bleeding and they helped me out super quick to get it to stop bleeding. Fast forward a couple of months, I found a mass on my dogs foot. Everyone there took great care of him. We ended up having to lay him to rest, but they made us feel super comfortable. They didn’t try to take advantage of the situation either when it came to pricing. I can’t thank them enough, through the tough time.
