First they want 150 dollars deposit before they even see you and we did not have the whole 150 and they were not agreeable on helping at all. And after we left. My new puppy died 3 hrs later. The worst place ever. You did not help and my dog died and I blame this vet and this office for loosing my therapy animal. This DR has no heart.

Welcome to Hovenden, Chris DVM

Welcome to an introduction of Hovenden, Chris DVM, a veterinary service located in Salem, Oregon, identified under the platform category of Pet Hospital. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview based on the limited information available, primarily consisting of the clinic's contact details and a couple of contrasting customer reviews. We will attempt to infer aspects of the environment, services, and features based on this information, keeping in mind the need to remain objective and avoid introducing missing details.

Hovenden, Chris DVM, is situated at 3215 Market St NE, Salem, OR 97301, USA. For those seeking their services, they can be contacted via phone at (503) 588-8082 or through their mobile number, +1 503-588-8082. The physical environment of the clinic is not described in the provided data. Therefore, we cannot comment on the ambiance, facilities, or overall setting of the Pet Hospital.

Regarding the services offered, one customer review mentions a situation where a deposit of $150 was requested before the examination of their new puppy. This suggests that initial consultations or emergency visits might require a deposit. The same review tragically states that the puppy died three hours after they left, with the reviewer expressing blame towards the vet and the office for not providing help and the loss of their therapy animal. This review presents a highly negative perspective on the clinic's responsiveness and the outcome of their visit.

In stark contrast, another customer offered a positive review, stating that the "staff was great" and that the "doctor listened to you and took the time to explain things to you." This reviewer, who was from out of state, indicated they would recommend Hovenden, Chris DVM, to others. This suggests that at least some clients have experienced attentive and communicative service from the doctor and a positive interaction with the staff.

Considering the platform category of "Pet Hospital," it is reasonable to infer that Hovenden, Chris DVM, offers medical services for pets. The mention of a deposit for seeing a new puppy implies they handle cases involving young animals, and the reference to a therapy animal suggests they cater to a variety of pet types. However, the specific range of services, such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, or emergency care, cannot be definitively determined from the provided information. The conflicting reviews make it challenging to characterize the typical service experience.

In terms of features, the positive review highlights the doctor's willingness to listen and explain things, which could be considered a valuable feature for pet owners seeking clear communication and understanding of their pet's health. On the other hand, the negative review points to a rigid financial policy (the deposit requirement) and a perceived lack of helpfulness in a critical situation, which would be seen as negative features by that particular customer.

No specific promotional information is included in the provided data. Therefore, we cannot discuss any special offers, discounts, or unique selling propositions of Hovenden, Chris DVM.

In conclusion, based on the limited information, Hovenden, Chris DVM, is a Pet Hospital in Salem, Oregon, that has elicited contrasting experiences from its customers. One review praises the staff and doctor for their attentiveness and communication, while another expresses profound dissatisfaction and blames the clinic for the death of their puppy due to a perceived lack of immediate assistance and a strict deposit policy. Potential local users should consider these differing perspectives when evaluating this veterinary service. Without more comprehensive information regarding the clinic's environment, the full scope of its services, and its general practices, it is difficult to provide a more detailed and conclusive introduction.
