Dr Dunn is the best, and although they're extremely busy, they'll work you in if at all possible for an emergency. They saved our 5 yr old toy poodles life when he woke up pooping blood all over. It was hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, an often fatal, quick onset, rare disease that can occur in small dogs. Our Oreo would have died within 24 hrs of onset if they hadn't worked him into an already crammed schedule due to the death of Dr Dunn's brother. AAAA++++
Nov 02, 2024 · Brenda KruseI’m new in town and HVH was HIGHLY recommended to me and I stopped by to check it out. Shirley greeted me and I explained my situation and she was so very helpful and kind. I was impressed with not only her kindness but the kindness of the staff with other customers. After transferring my dogs records to them they had their first appointment. The tech was so wonderful and compassionate with my one dog,who is deathly afraid of vets, and just as wonderful with my other one. Dr. Dunn talked to me afterwards and I was equally impressed with his kindness towards my babies and taking as much time with me as I needed to ask questions and fully explain things to me. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for him and his staff!!!! Definitely a loving and caring place to take your fur babies!!!!
Aug 24, 2023 · Debi PayneDo not take your animals here they like to kill animals without any medical reason and not only that but if a run away pet is given to them for them to find the owner then after five days they kill them!!! These people are very inhumane!! And no one should let them near an animal!!
Nov 06, 2024 · Ashley Guynni brought my male cat in to get fixed and they neglected him throughout his stay. they gave him anesthetics while they fixed him and then tossed him back in his carrier for the two days he was there. they didn't feed or water him because they "didn't want him to escape because they feared they wouldn't get him back" ? while they left him in his carrier, he pooped all over himself. they did not attempt to clean him as he would "clean himself when he felt better". i brought him home and he was still so messed up on the anesthetics that he wouldn't eat or drink and he just threw up constantly as to which i called them for and got told to give him space. he died within 24 hours of having him home. i went back to inform them that he had died and all they could say was that they where sorry and they didn't know why he died. they told me that if i undug my dead burried cat that they'd do an autopsy, but they couldn't assist me any further. they offered me half of what i paid and an apology, and basically blamed me for his death because i couldn't prove that it was caused by them. he was a few weeks over a year old. my poor baby is dead and i'm left with $60 as an apology. i've been crying for days.
