Hopi Animal Hospital

My family has been using Hopi for 8+ years now. I now have 4 dogs of my own and Hopi proves time and time again that they’ll go above and beyond to work with me and take care of my pups. They've been there and helped when my puppy was only 4 months old and had an abscess on his elbow from an injury. They've helped when my 4 yr old husky Zeus broke a bone in his arm. Just recently my 7 month old Husky puppy Stryker needed a major emergency surgery. They were willing to get him in quickly and did an amazing job! Without their help I don’t know what we would have done. They answer my questions in a timely manner, are flexible with scheduling and everyone has always been so friendly to us. I enjoy going there for visits and I trust them with my dogs wholeheartedly. Storm, Summit, Stryker and Zeus thank you for all you do Hopi!! 🐾

My parents have taken four dogs and two cats to this veterinarian over the last 20 years. However, as soon as I had my own pet, my husband and I refused to take our dog here. The staff is incredibly rude and truly doesn't want to hear what you have to say. My parents gave them the benefit of the doubt for far to long in my opinion, and now they agree. Their last experience at this vet on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 is the true reason they will NEVER return. On the 17th, My parents sent their 10 year old husky for a librela vaccination (google it), a teeth cleaning, and x-rays. Well, they put their dog under anesthesia to complete the teeth cleaning and x-rays. After spending the day at the vet, our husky came home and could not get out of the car for several hours. He was agitated and visibly uncomfortable. We figured it was the anesthesia effects and eventually hours later carried him out of the car. Our husky could not move a muscle once put on the ground of the car. We called and the vet said it was strain from manipulation of his legs to take the x-rays. By Thursday, we called again because he could not move and the answer we got was come pick up some new meds. We did, and from Thursday night, our husky was wailing and crying, and peeing on himself. He could not move a muscle. By Friday, we took him to a veterinary neurosurgeon because this pathetic "animal hospital" is closed Friday-Sunday. This was the hardest part. There was no one to call and ask for help that knew what our husky was going through. Once we took him to the neurosurgeon, they saw our dog was in dire need of medical attention immediately. They took MRIs and ultimately could not find a serious reason for his downfall. After a night at the vet, our dog's health took another downturn and he developed heart issues, infections, and a fever. This led to the inevitable decision we knew we had to make. All the while, this vet was still closed until Monday. Our husky passed Saturday morning. By Monday, December 23rd, my father wrote a letter to inform him of the suffering we all endured. We have received no response....a "animal hospital" that we visited with 6 animals for over 20 years. Don't take your pets here. They cannot provide the service that they deserve. If they cared for animals, they would be open and available more than 4 days out the week. There would be an emergency line to reach if there were questions, but there was NOTHING.

Best animal hospital in the valley, in my honest opinion. We have a dog that’s very protective of the family, and her behavior changed back in 2016 due to getting attacked by another dog. She’s tough to deal with at the Vet. We’ve had vets say we should put her down, talk down to us due to her temperament when we are in the room, etc etc. Hopi is THE ONLY PLACE that has the patience to care for Penny. I can’t thank the entire team enough!!

I've always had the best experiences and interactions here, but most importantly, my pets have received expert, professional, and loving care from the veterinarians and staff at Hopi. I truly admire them for the consistency of their pet-centric patient services. I've been going to Hopi for 14 years now, and recommend this practice to anyone I know. Since 2003, my family and I have had six dogs as patients/clients of Hopi Animal Hospital, and we wouldn't have it any other way! We mostly see Dr Pruden, who is a genius by the way, but we have total respect for and confidence in ALL of the veterinarians, technicians and support staff at Hopi.

We are so happy we found Hopi Animal Hospital! Their exceptional level of care and support for our dog has surpassed my expectations every time we go in. The office is clean, the staff and vets welcome you with a smile and their communication is excellent! I can’t say enough good things about Hopi and highly recommend them to all pet parents. 💞
