Hope Animal Hospital has been taking care of my pets (rabbits, ferrets, cats) for years and doing an excellent job of it! I recently moved farther from them, but I still make the trip to them for appointments because of their care and diligence. Their team is great and I can tell they love the animals they help every day!

Oct 01, 2024 · Isabelle RothI did indeed paid more than I wanted too. Than again, there's not many small animals that's around here so maybe that's why...they care for any animal here big to small. And my guinea pigs don't have mites anymore. They have great service so don't have to worry, your furbaby is in good hands. I like the how they decorate, and the welcoming whiteboard was a nice touch to the room too.
Aug 19, 2020 · KJCruiserGreat, wonderful and caring facility. Service top notch. I won't trust anyone else with my dachshunds, since finding this doc. Update 7-16-24 Still the best place to go. This is the ONLY vet my dogs are not afraid of.
Jul 16, 2024 · Titanium VaporTook my rabbit in for not bearing weight on his back legs. Dr. Linda Beisswenger came in the room, did an exam and said she was going to look under the microscope to rule out ear mites and that she would be back. She never came back. I asked the tech to have her come back into the office because I had a few questions. she came back in and said “any questions you have the techs can answer for you” I asked Dr. Beisswenger why she was prescribing an antifungal medication if she told me it was a bacterial infection, and that I had already asked the tech and she was not sure. After she became argumentative with her treatment course, she told me “if you don’t like how I run my practice, the door is right there” then proceed to laugh, shake her head and walk out of the room. I continued to ask about his feet and wasn’t sure if bumble foot could be causing all of his symptoms. I told her I took my rabbit there for not bearing weight on his back legs and she didn’t address that issue. She said “well that’s not my biggest concern”. Ok? So you are just going to dismiss other concerns? They had me wait an hour, charged me $350 and wouldn’t even offer me 5 minutes of her time. UPDATE: got a second opinion from a different vet and found out my baby had condro sarcoma (cancer of his back leg cartilage) which was diagnosed with a 5 minute x ray. I had to have him put down. Dr. Beisswenger would have been able to make that diagnosis had she actually validated my concerns. Worst “doctor” ever. I will not be back.
Aug 07, 2024 · Brandy KimbleIf I could give them 0 stars I would. I brought my mouse there for what I assumed was mites. The nurses and front desk people were all very kind and welcoming. When the doctor came in she barely looked at my mouse and told me it was mites. She then gave me absolutely no instruction for care, sprayed my mouse with something they didn’t tell me what it was and sent me on my way. Obviously he didn’t get better so I made another appointment for them to do the exact same thing but instead tell me to come back next week to for the “mite treatment” with no other care instructions or anything. I had to almost beg for pain med which they didn’t explain how to give to him or what it even was. The doctor stayed in the room maybe 30 seconds a minute each visit and didn’t want to answer any questions or concerns I had. The last time we went they still didn’t want to exam him really or explain anything at all that could be wrong and charged me $250 for a fungal exam and sent me home again. I finally gave up on them and went to KERSTING VETERINARY HOSPITAL which I would recommend a million times more then hope. They had to put my mouse down as they said he didnt get the correct treatment in time for him to live. Overall their staff was very nice and kind to me but their doctor doesn’t seem to care. Will never be going back and sticking with kersting vet for all my pets.
