I wish I'd never had to meet them but so glad they were there when I had to. My Snofie only had one visit because the cancer was too advanced by the time we caught it. A hurt leg is how we found it due to X-rays. The doctors and staff at Hope were the epitome of professional, caring, supportive, and most of all, patient with a grieving mom. They took care of everything and were prepared to help me make my fur baby's crossing as "easy" as possible. They had all kinds of treats on hand for her to try that she never could before that moment in time. They let me stay with her as long as I needed with no pressure to leave or hurry up. They were respectful of our needs and wishes. And they sent a hand-signed card in the days following with their condolences. I hope I never have to see them again - but if any of my furkids in the future need specialists, I will willingly drive the distance again for their expertise and empathy. They were absolutely amazing in the absolute worst moment of my life. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in need.

Oct 11, 2024 · Lora WilsonOur cat got super sick and was hospitalized for 4 days here. The staff and vets were wonderful. We also needed extra help and guidance about the etube feeding over the phone and everyone was super helpful. We were definitely in good hands.
Nov 19, 2024 · H WAbsolutely amazing experience! We had to call with an emergency around midnight. The staff quickly gave us guidance and made sure to verify the correct procedure. The person who answered the phone was compassionate and explained immediate action as well as risks and future considerations. These people truly care about the animals they help, and we will be going to them for any pet emergencies in the future.
Jan 09, 2025 · Sarah PlackeI wanted to shoutout Courtney and Court at the ER. Our cat came home from surgery and had symptoms that we did not expect. After multiple calls, we decided to take our cat to the ER. Courtney diagnosed the issue within minutes and helped us be comfortable with caring for her. My wife and I feel very lucky that we found Courtney. Thank you so much!
Jan 11, 2025 · Eric HemphillPlease note: this review is for the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT only. I've been sitting on this for about a month because I hate writing bad reviews. Let me start with the fact that the vet we saw was WONDERFUL. Compassionate. Laid out the facts. Amazing. Dr. Hanson (sp?) is a wonderful human being. The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars is for him. Unfortunately, the front desk staff makes the first impression and it put a bad taste in our mouths. My husband and I brought our 6 mo. old kitten in last month after a brief but serious mystery illness. We had gone to another emergency vet with her previously because of a bad previous experience with our older cat whom our pet sitter brought in while we were out of town. This time, they suggested we go to Hope for a specialist after they had seen our kitten multiple times and were shaking their heads at what could be going on. When we arrived, the waiting room had not a single person in it. Not one. It was around 11ish pm. We were let in and immediately felt unwelcome as both of the front desk staff told us repeatedly that "well, we usually like people to call ahead, but..." "well, you didn't call ahead, but I guess..." Yes. We are aware. But this was serious and the other emergency vet said they would call over all of our kitten's records. Which they did about 5 min later... and again, there was nobody in the waiting room. I understand it was late. I understand we didn't call ahead. But when someone is in distress over a furry family member--maybe these should be inside thoughts? Cherry on top was when one of the front desk staff had to then come and talk euthanasia and what urn we wanted for our baby. Just something to think about.
