I first met Dr. Justin Busick in October of 2021. My pet pygmy goat had a complete blockage in his urinary tract. Dr. Busick made a late night visit to my home and helped my Norman get comfortable. He performed Norman's life-saving surgery the next morning. Since then he has been very helpful with Norman's post-op care. Dr. Justin has taught me about good nutrition to aid in the "prevention" of urinary calculi in my goats. My Norman has become seriously ill from his urinary tract issues and Dr. Justin has literally brought him back from the brink of death a few times. Its easy to see he really cares about the pets as well as farm animals. His service is very much needed in the Anderson area. He has always made himself available here when needed. I feel very lucky to have found him!

Mar 18, 2023 · Jodo LaForceWe were fortunate to be able to find Dr Busick through a face book post about a mobile vet. He has been our vet for a little while now and has treated my herd of Nigerian dwarf and mini Nubian goats. Sickness, skin issues, broken bone, blood testing, fecals, and some surgeries for my boys. He is an excellent vet and always answers my multitude of questions. Live stock vets are hard to find now. One that cares about the animal and the family involved even more rare. We are very fortunate to have him in our area helping our animals.
May 06, 2023 · Joelle StewartI had been looking for years for a vet that would make house calls for my in house pot belly pig that we loved dearly. As he was approaching his senior years he developed some pretty severe arthritis. Dr Busick came over and helped me with pain meds for my boy. Just recently we made the very tough decision it was time to put him down. Dr Busick was very understanding of my pigs anxiety with other people. He made the process so much easier for us. I would definitely recommend Hoof Beats to others in the future.
Aug 06, 2024 · Tiffany MooreI use hoofbeats for all of my veterinary needs. I highly recommend Dr Justin. He is knowledgeable and experienced. He genuinely cares about the animals. A great resource if someone is just starting out with livestock too!
Feb 27, 2023 · A WardGreat vet. Expensive for just vet visit. Would be great if he could have give me discount for something I have to replaced which was unrelated to animal.
