Do not recommend!! Especially if you have a dog that gets easily overwhelmed at the Vet or has anxiety issues. My dog experienced blasto as a young pup and survived!! But unfortunately vet/office visits for him are extremely triggering for him. The ladies at this office did not communicate that nor listen to me. I even said I prefer him to be muzzled. Then the Dr ??? not even sure his name. He didn’t even introduce himself. Mind you we drove 40 minutes and were potentially new clients. Ultimately the poor communication between their staff and their unwillingness to be friendly and kind to my dog who was completely new to them is the main reason we will not be returning. If our vet hadn’t retired recently we wouldn’t even be looking for a new vet. Trust me when I say there’s more compassion and caring individuals elsewhere than what this place will provide. If you want you cat/dog to have the best care seek another vet!

Hometown Veterinary Clinic Introduce

Welcome to Hometown Veterinary Clinic, your dedicated partner in ensuring the health and well-being of your beloved pets in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, and the surrounding areas. As a vital part of the Pet Hospital category, we strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care for a variety of animals. Located at 180 E Highland Dr, Oconto Falls, WI 54154, USA, our clinic is committed to offering a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of your furry, scaly, and feathered companions.

At Hometown Veterinary Clinic, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. That's why our team is dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for both you and your animal companion. While online reviews offer varied perspectives on the clinic experience, we aim to provide a professional and caring service to every client and patient who walks through our doors. We encourage you to consider all feedback and experience our clinic firsthand to determine if we are the right fit for your pet's healthcare needs.

Our services encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care, focusing on preventative medicine, diagnostics, and treatment. We believe that proactive healthcare is crucial in maintaining your pet's long-term health and quality of life. This includes routine check-ups, vaccinations tailored to your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, parasite prevention programs (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and nutritional counseling to ensure your pet is receiving the optimal diet for their age and health status.

In the realm of diagnostics, Hometown Veterinary Clinic is equipped to handle a variety of needs. While specific details about our equipment and capabilities are best discussed directly with our team, general veterinary diagnostics often include laboratory services (such as blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal exams), imaging techniques (like X-rays), and other specialized tests as required to accurately diagnose your pet's condition. Our veterinarians utilize these tools to gain a comprehensive understanding of your pet's health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans.

When it comes to treatment, our experienced veterinarians are skilled in managing a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. From common illnesses to more complex health issues, we are dedicated to providing evidence-based care to help your pet recover and thrive. While one online review mentions concerns about communication and handling a dog with anxiety, we continuously strive to improve our communication practices and tailor our approach to the individual needs of each animal. We encourage pet owners to openly communicate any specific concerns or anxieties their pets may have so that we can work together to create a more positive experience.

It's important to note that the veterinary field is one where compassion and professionalism are paramount, especially during difficult times. One customer review highlighted the exceptional compassion and respect shown by the staff during the euthanasia of their beloved companion. This positive feedback underscores our commitment to providing sensitive and supportive care during all stages of your pet's life, including end-of-life care when it becomes necessary.

While we may not have specific promotional offers readily available online, we encourage you to contact us directly at (920) 848-4280 or +1 920-848-4280 to inquire about our current services and any potential specials. Our friendly staff can provide you with detailed information about our pricing, appointment scheduling, and answer any questions you may have regarding your pet's specific needs.

We encourage you to consider the range of services we offer, our location in Oconto Falls, and the dedication of our team. While online reviews can offer insights, we believe that direct communication and a personal visit to our clinic can provide you with the most accurate understanding of our environment and approach to pet care. Competent, friendly staff great vets. The visit on 2/14/24 was to euthanize my loving companion. I have had to put two dogs down at other vets and have not been shown the compassion, professionalism and respect that I did at Hometown. They were superb!

Very pleased with today's 16 week checkup! The assistant and Dr. were both very kind/ gentle to my little "Lexi Love".

Recently Hometown Veterinary Clinic ended their relationship with their stock animal veterinarian. They sent a letter to all of their stock animal clients letting them know that effective immediately they were no longer providing services to them. The approach of just abandoning their clients without any type of assistance in finding new care speaks volumes about the commitment this business really has to their clients.
