Mar 03, 2025 · Patricia StantonWe ending up here after being away from home & having a traumatic experience. These people care DEEPLY for animals and humans. Thank you so much for being here for us in a time of need. Picture of our sweet girl below. We will never forget you
Oct 06, 2024 · Morgan BarnettLove Doc Phillips and the Girls, our Lucy thinks the world of him she just whines when we get there and prances. Now Tig's the cat, not so much. Couldn't ask for a more caring vet for your fur babies. I was so glad when I found out he was opening that place in Elnora. I didn't care it was a drive. I knew where my babies were going for their care..
Feb 09, 2025 · Janell EakerPraise the Lord for Doc. Ace came down with a bad case of Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (med term for his stomach bloated and flipped on itself.) Bloat is a critical condition that not many dogs are lucky to survive. Even with quick intervention, the outcome is typically not what any dog owner wants to hear. Doc answered my call after hours and took time away from his wife and children to come make a gamble at saving Ace’s life. The four of us fought for 2 hours and got his stomach flipped- Ace is now in surgery with Dr. Nolting to do a gastropexy to tack his stomach to the abdominal wall to prevent future torsion. If not for Dr. Phillips’ selfless sacrifice of time with his family, Ace would have died within no time. We will never be able to thank him enough. Pet owners, please consider establishing care at Hometown Veterinary. You won’t find the level of attention and genuine concern anywhere else. PS- gastropexy is an ENDLESSLY important form of preventative care for your barrel-chested breeds like GSDs, standard poodles, and, unfortunately for Ace, Great Danes. Please consider gastropexy- it may just save your dogs life and YOU tons of money in the event of a bloat.
Mar 18, 2025 · Malia EdlinDr Phillips was so kind on my first visit w my 3 rotts . It was actually his day off , but he still treated . Last vet kept giving them steroid shots for allergies. After a look at the dogs following several questions , he immediatly explained it wasn't allergies. Gave them utd shots w medicine to stop the itching . Sent me home w a good flea and tick med . I'm so happy. As a breeder , they'll get all my business . Lady receptionist was very helpful in weighing the dogs , then helping me up when I fell . Lol yall are very professional , and get all my business now .
