The shelter houses cats and dogs. My stepmother is fostering a dog and we went to pick up dog food. They are in the process of building an outside space for the cat's. They can get in from inside and enjoy the sun and nice weather.

I went to take my dog and cat to get fixed from here. I live an hour away. I dropped both animals off at 730 am they call me at 11 am when I’ve made it all the way home to tell me they will not do the surgery on my animals bc I didnt do previous vaccines when they KNEW this when I called to make the appointment. Then also because I didn’t want a heart warm test, i finally agree to the heart warm test then they say well we don’t have vaccines and you use ivermectin so we don’t feel comfortable LOL.. The lady on the phone was rude as hell. She then hung up on me and it took me SIXTEEN phone calls to reach them back. Where they ignored my calls put the phone on busy and finally answered on the 16th call back. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s worth getting treated poorly and for them to be this unprofessional and unorganized. It’s ridiculous.

THIS PLACE WAS THE DIRTIEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN and I’ve been in caves. I was afraid my dog was going to get some kind of infection just breathing the air. If you bring your pet in here it’ll probably leave with fleas or tics. No animal should be surgically done here. I ask the Veterinary Dr. how much it would cost me to have my dog treated and he said $300. I said no more than that? He said no. So I had him treated. He gave him two shot of antibiotics, blood drawn, gave me a small bottle of (prednisone 5 pills) and small bottle of Ursodiol (10 pills), an antibacterial VERAFLOX *FOR ORAL USE IN CATS ONLY* and says *DONT USE IN DOGS*!!!! Told me to bring him back next week (today) to clean his mouth. I called to set the appointment and asked if this is covered under what I already paid. And she said NO, it’s going to cost from $250.-$650. When I told her the veterinarian said it would all cost me $300. She said he shouldn’t have told you that. WOW, just wow. All this for a mouth infection. Looks like a lawsuit for the for the veraflox (for cats only. do not use on dogs) and a call to the health department, unless they give the treatment that was promised to my dog for the $300.
