Highway 92 Animal Hospital

Brought my sweet cat in there this morning for a sick visit. We had a wellness exam a few months back and the staff was wonderful! They treated him with such care and I cannot thank Dr. Z, the front office ladies, Fran and Colleen, and especially the vet tech Abbey, enough! Our appointment was so smooth and quick, we were in and out in about 30-40 minutes. If you’re looking for a new vet, look no further!! Every one of the staff listened to my concerns. They are upfront with their pricing and give you an estimate before doing anything. We haven't seen the other provider, but I’m sure she’s just as great! Also wanted to mention they’ll try to get you in ASAP if necessary. Again, if you’re looking for a new vet, this is the place! We appreciate Highway 92 Animal Hospital! ❤️ -Lauren and Winston

My husband and I have 7 cats. We definitely bit off more than we could chew but we love them so much. It’s with a lot of patience and grace on the part of Dr. Howard, Colleen and the whole staff that we’ve managed to keep these babes as healthy and happy as possible. Everything from the usual neutering/spay & dental work to when one of our babes decided to eat two pieces of “pool noodle” like foam from the bottom edge of our garage door recently. 😭 They’ve been there for us through thick and thin. They’ve been honest even when it’s hard to hear, and they teach us how to be better cat dads every time we visit with our babes. We genuinely don’t know what we would do without them. Thank you Hwy 92 Animal Hospital for providing such care to our babes and treating us with such kindness and respect.

This is not our normal vet, but it's about to be. I have a stray cat that's been wandering in and out of my life for the past few years. He recently showed up with an injury and in obvious need of medical attention. I called my regular vet's office, who could not see me for 2 days. I found this place & called, they were able to see me same day. They were just amazing from start to finish. They waived the initial exam fee for me, calling it their "Good Samaritan policy." The vet tech & the vet were both so nice and took such good care of my little foster kitty. He had soiled the crate by the time we arrived, and the vet tech was so gracious about it. They presented me with several options, and they were just so understanding about him being a stray and me wanting to do what's best for him, but within reason. They were able to help him get back on his paws, and he is now doing much better. I was also surprised when we got to check out and they had decided to give me another 20% off discount the whole bill!! I was floored. Every person I came in contact with thanked me for bringing him in. It was just all around such a pleasant experience and such a caring office, We have 3 cats and 2 dogs already, and we are going to make this our regular vet's office moving forward.

I have never had a great experience at a vet’s office. Some were better than others, but none have been great. My first visit to Hwy 92 Animal hospital was great! Colleen at the front desk was wonderful. She was informative and non-judgmental. The vet assistant was wonderful. The doctor was very thorough and great at listening and explaining. I was so pleased, I signed up for their PetCentric membership plan.

Run from this place!!! If it would be 0 star review, I would leave that one. I've been told that an estimated cost of removing 8 teeth of my old cat $1500 on a high end. I thought I would get into price range lower than that, however it came to even more high price than a high end cost due to the complicity as always happens somehow in order to overcharge the people. They put blame on us that we misunderstood the pricing from the beginning. That sounds is very bizarre and unprofessional. They will not negotiate the prices at all. So, we end up of charged a full medical bill with some extra staff. They said the grooming of our skinny little cat will be $100, but charged $140 instead. What a joke! Seriously?! Dr. Howard is very arrogant and instead of giving us a reasonable price, she offered us to get a credit to pay for the service! I just wondering who can afford Dr. Howard service?! Unbelievable! I also read about Dr. Howard negative reviews before and seems they are TRUE ones. I just want everybody aware of this clinic and please learn from my mistakes. They seemed nice people because they need your business, but in reality they are all about your money. Do not trust them especially Dr. Howard. This place is no longer the same as it used to be with Dr. Barnwell ! They will take from you as much as they can without any regrets. I already researched several places for quote for the same procedure and they offered twice less price with many extras! Hwy 92 animal hospital is a scam. I would never come back there and would not recommend anyone. Please do yourself a favor and find a better place with AFFORDABLE prices for your loved ones.
