Highway 58 Animal Hospital

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I had recently taken possession of my 12 year old family dog for the winter. He was sick so I found the closest vet to me with hopes it would be an easy fix. It turned out it was not an easy fix, and our little guy had a terminal tumor. The vets were answering calls on their off day and squeezing him in asap for further testing. For a first time patient I was absolutely blown away. Our dog ended up being too sick for surgery, but Dr. Carter and Dr. Lewis did their absolute best to make sure he was as comfortable as could be in his final weeks and even made sure to not run up a bill doing so. The touching card they sent after he passed with personal notes by 10 of the staff members was the cherry on top. From the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors, everyone here was absolutely amazing during one of the hardest times in my life. Specific thank yous to the ladies I saw the most other than the doctors: Melanie, Grace, Megan & I think Brittany. I went here due to my current location proximity, but I will continue going here no matter how far away I live. My other dog may not be excited for a routine visit to the vet, but now I sure am!

Had an amazing and quick experience taking my baby bucket and from receptionist to doctors and all everyone was so welcoming! Very clean lobby and took great care of us ! (He did give us the side eye )

7/4/2024 - My 18 month old puppy survived aspirational pneumonia NO THANKS TO THESE UNETHICAL VULTURES. DO NOT bring your precious pets to this facility if it is a true emergency. Honestly, I wouldn't go back there except to tell them to their faces that they have a low standard in ethics and integrity and that they prey on families in their time of desperation and helplessness. I came to this CLINIC, not a hospital, first. The veterinarian walked into the exam room, took one look at my puppy, and she KNEW that she WAS NOT EQUIPPED TO SAVE HIM. Instead of being upfront and honest about her capability to provide quality patient care and saving us our MONEY AND PRECIOUS TIME by advising us to take our puppy to an ACTUAL emergency room, this predator offered to do all of this extra crap, x-rays, and/or lab work KNOWING THAT SHE WAS NOT EQUIPPED TO ADMIT MY PUPPY AND ADMINISTER EMERGENCY CARE. I would have gladly paid $70 for their time and professional opinion and went to the ER. Instead, this vet took advantage of me and my family (my kids were with us) desperately seeking life-saving care for our family pet. My bill with them was about $400 just for her to tell us that she couldn't save my puppy 😡! A TOTAL WASTE! Then, I had to drive to an actual ER, where they admitted my puppy, kept him overnight for about 10 hours, administered intravenous antibiotics, and my puppy survived. That only cost me about $850. One would think that a professional caregiver for pets and animals would have more compassion and integrity for the families of those pets and that they would be transparent, honorable, and ETHICAL in their practice. This facility was THE WORST that I have ever experienced. They care more about running up your bill than giving quality patient care. This facility IS NOT HOSPITAL and it is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT to include that in their name. This is a CLINIC for checkups and minor urgent care for injuries or illnesses that can be cured with gauze and tape or basic prescription meds. My only regret was that I didn't know better than to ask more questions about a plan of care before agreeing to more than a basic examination from them. That was where professional empathy, integrity, and ethics would have made a HUGE difference in our experience. **Photos were taken at the ER**

Shortly after moving here from across the country 3 years ago my kitty Callie passed away. I knew no vet or contacts for afterlife options. The staff were compassionate and amazingly helpful in providing me all the information I needed. They have since been my go to vet for all my current cats and never fail to give wonderful care. Always easy to schedule an appointment and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you hwy 58 animal hospital.

I took my Elijah, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in for the first time due to a lot of severe hip and leg area pain. I called the receptionist (can't remember the name) was sweet and kind and got me registered in the system before I got there. Saturdays are walk-ins only since they close at 2 pm. I got there again, the receptionist was so nice with great customer service. Didn't wait long at all. Brittany, the tech, called Elijah back. Brittany was phenomenal with Elijah due to him being in the pain he was in. Dr. Rawlston came in, and she was absolutely 💯 amazing. Dr. Rawlston examined Elijah with such care and gentleness. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian than her. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a vet. The poc she gave me for Elijah was great. I do have a veterinarian, but she is in GA and closed on Saturdays. I've been needing to look for one closer to me, and I am thankful I did. I will definitely be back. Thank you all for being so nice and taking good care of my precious King. 💜 The pictures I've posted are the first three is where Elijah is absolutely in pain, so he likes to get up close behind me to feel that security. And the last two are his happy go lucky all the time self. 🩵🩵
