Oct 25, 2024 · Sterling HutchinsonI have been bringing my two chihuahuas to Hight Vet for a while now and it has been the best vet experience I have ever had. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave you can feel the compassion from everyone who works there. They make me and my pups feel special. They never rush me, they call to check in on my dogs, they are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention that Dr Hight has been a BLESSING to me. He always listens, explains everything, gives me options, and is very genuine in everything he does. Hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. I’ve had my dogs for 14 and 12 years and we have been to numerous vets all over NC (I’ve lived in multiple cities) from expensive to cheap I’ve never found one like Hight Vet. If price is a concern to you I can promise you that you get what you pay for and Hight is a top tier vet hospital that only provides the best service out there.
Mar 03, 2025 · Peyton HawksI was surprised by the cost of the visit and every vet I’ve ever had from NY to Fl and now Charlotte have a multi pet discount when seeing my pups together. I was looking for consistency in staff and a good rapport with my pups. But almost $300 for a joint office visit with flu shots for 2 small pups is a lot and one dose of Heartgard as my Patty has gained weight. I guess I will have to keep trying to find good affordable vet care for my fur babies.
Jul 25, 2024 · camille alexanderWe usually take our dog to this office. Called tonight because my cat suddenly fell over and was having trouble breathing. Closest emergency vet was 25 minutes away, so we called apologized because it was 5:50pm and they closed at 6, and explained the situation. They said “sorry, you should take him to the emergency vet”. I explained that we would not make it and my cat was dying and would be dead before we could make it there. The person on the phone consulted with the doctor, a conversation we could hear, and then came back and said “I don’t know what else to tell you. We’re closed.” My cat is now dead. We will never bring our dog here again. Absolutely heartless. Edit after response: I will not be calling because honestly, what can you possibly do? My cat is gone. “So sorry we didn’t care about your pet dying! We wanted to get home on time! Oops!” What a joke.
