Worked here as a teenager and someone came into the office and stole a bunch of “tick picks” off of the counter. Dr Cleland did not accuse me of stealing or even mention the loss to me, but my next paycheck he deducted the amount of the tick picks from my paycheck, and labeled it “theft loss”. I was shocked! -I was responsible for all of the stock even though my job took me away from the front desk?!? That money was very much needed and I’ll never forget how cold and awful he was when I asked him about it. I walked out wanting to sue him, but did not have funds for an attorney nor would that have made sense for $50. I never forgot what he did to me. The office manager did not support me and that may have been worse! Sad to see this vet is still around and I still think he’s a TERRIBLE man. He was driving a Porsche at the time. Edited to add : he says he doesn’t remember me, but doesn’t deny he did this to me. I’m 100% not surprised he doesn’t remember me. I’m sure he also doesn’t remember expecting the girls in the office to do his dishes for him either ;)

A bit pricey but they are very professional, knowledgeable and fast. They offer all services and get you in and out. Billings is detailed and explained in full. Optional services are explained before rendered.

I have been using Highland Park for years. My dog Wendy had health issues and was in a lot. The staff was always welcoming and it was easy to get appointments. We no longer have Wendy, and Carol helped me through the difficult decision to end her suffering. If I ever get another dog, this will be my vet.

I thought it was very over priced, went in for shots and a grooming ( New to the area) her hair cut was very, very choppy you could see the lines from the clippers and they even managed to cut her almost blad in some spots, and they didn't bother to clean her paws up ( petsmart did a much much better job)- and to top that it was 60$, if it was done right i wouldn't be complainng but guess what they say is true, you get what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend getting grooming here, but everything else was OK, however I will be going else where for services.
