8 year clients and I was very disappointed the way I was treated today by the receptionist (I think her name is Whitney). I called to see if I could get a stool sample tested for our dog who has had diarrhea the past few days. His appetite is good and other than the runny stool he is fine. The receptionist insisted that we need to bring him in for an appointment. I thought that it would make sense to bring in the sample today so they would have the results for the appointment. This did not make sense to her. After explaining to her why this would save us time vs waiting till Monday, she said she had to ask the Dr. She came back and said that was ok to bring it in. I brought the sample by. There was a different receptionist that took the sample. I started to leave and she asked for a $60 payment. I did not have my wallet with me so I thought it would make sense to just pay with the bill Monday. She told me to call back with my credit card number. I told her that I would just pay it Monday. I did ask if there was a problem with our history (which there wasn't since we always pay in full after the appointment which is probably over $1000 this year). Well, next I get a snappy voice mail to call back and that they need payment or the sample will not be tested. I called back and told the snippy receptionist that we will no longer be going there and that we will find another Veterinary. We might as well go to Pet Smart. What happened to client appreciation. I guess when a business gets so big and so busy a longtime customer no longer matters. We may not be the biggest client, but $1000 a year over 8 years does sound like allot.

Apr 09, 2025 · luimymoral 12We’ve been seeing Dr Schwent for years. Once again, she was a miracle worker. Our dog, Ike was having digestion issues, along with diarrhea for a week. He wasn’t getting any better, so we finally decided that we needed to see Dr. Schwent. She knew exactly how to treat Ike and what medication to prescribe. Ike was finally able to sleep thru the night without waking us up to go potty. Thank you Dr. The following afternoon he had a normal bowel movement and was back to his old self. We wish we had gone in to see the Dr. sooner, next time. Thank you Dr. Schwent! You and your staff are the best!
Nov 09, 2023 · Robert HaskinI've had pets my whole life. Been to many vets. These guys rank up there with the best! From my old lady. Who passed out. I thought was dying. Grabbed her and rushed in. They were busy, but cared enough to look at her. And treat. To my old boy. Who, not even a week after I got out of hospital for my car roll over. Had reached the end of his line. Over the last few years. We had been working on keeping him pain free. They made his last moments as easy as possible. For all of us. Thank you 😢❤️
