Hershey Animal Emergency Center is outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond with an incredible level of compassion and care. They took the time to thoroughly explain every step of Willie Nelson’s treatment plan, which gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. The facility itself is so welcoming, with cozy rooms that include a loveseat, Alexa, a side table, and a lamp, making it feel more like home than a hospital. We were there for 7 hours on our first visit, and despite the long stay, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made all the difference. The next day, we had to return, and they admitted Willie for an overnight stay. Throughout the 24 hours he was there, we received frequent text updates and even pictures, which meant the world to us. While veterinary care can be pricey—especially for overnight emergency treatment—the team made sure to walk us through the treatment plan and associated costs every step of the way, so we were never caught off guard. Special thanks to Willie’s nurse, Sierra, and his doctor, Dr. Dignan. Their loving and gentle approach made a difficult situation so much easier. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience during a crisis. Thank you all for everything you did for our pup.

Incredibly compassionate staff that allow you as much time as you need. They tried their best to save my dog, only to find the complications would only make her suffer. They allowed me as much time as I needed to hold her. They even gave me paw prints & her fur for free. They made sure to even get the brown and black fur for me. While last night/this morning was easily the worst day of my life & saying goodbye to my LilySpot was not easy - the vets/staff did everything in their power to make sure that Lily didn't suffer.

I would recommend Hershey Animal Emergency Center to anyone. My boyfriend and I had our 5 month old pure bred beagle, Dunkin here because he was vomiting this morning. They ran a x-rays, did blood work and found out he was dehydrated. They were quick to diagnose, treat and let us know what was going on every next step. 10/10 recommend!

I was impressed by every single staff member I interacted with, very confident in the experienced veterinarians and thankful for the quick emergent care. My pet was immediately provided pain medication minutes after we arrived. Calls made during surgery and hospitalization with updates were thorough and explained everything. Could not have had a better experience, every single employee there was excellent. Very thankful for the terrific skill and care shown my pet.
