$400 and up and $65 assessment just to NEUTER a kitten. This place will not give you the rates they charge for services until you pay them for an assessment. I had to ask to speak with someone who was at liberty to share the service rate. (The manager was unable to speak with me but did relay the range to the woman with whom I spoke) So they expect you to pay the assessment and THEN they disclose their rates. Clearly a sales strategy that feels unbefitting veterinary care. Personally all I wanted was to neuter a kitten. When I asked why I could not atleast get a range she said many other things could be wrong with my kitten that would require additional services. I asked for examples and she said he could need teeth pulled of have hernias etc...When the office manager "allowed" her to give me the $400 and up rate for the neuter I laughed. She then said I should find a place that better fits my "financial needs". So- ladies and gentlemen that is the sort of customer service you can expect here...To this establishment- had you gone about this differently you likely would have had my business as I live right next to your office.

Welcome to Healthy Paws Veterinary Care

Welcome to the local introduction of Healthy Paws Veterinary Care, a facility operating within the Pet Hospital category, located at 1082 E Bastanchury Rd #102 in Fullerton, CA 92835, USA. You can contact them at (714) 332-0298 or +1 714-332-0298. Healthy Paws Veterinary Care aims to provide health services for your animal companions.

As a Pet Hospital situated in Fullerton, Healthy Paws Veterinary Care likely offers a variety of services expected from such an establishment. These typically include routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgical procedures, dental care, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. However, the provided customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on certain aspects of their operations, particularly regarding pricing transparency and customer service related to service costs.

One customer review raises concerns about the clinic's policy regarding the disclosure of service rates. This review details an experience where the cost for a kitten neutering procedure was not provided upfront. Instead, the customer was informed of an assessment fee, after which a price range for the neutering ($400 and up) was given. The reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with this approach, finding it to be a sales strategy that felt "unbefitting veterinary care." They also mentioned being told that additional issues could be discovered during the assessment, potentially leading to further costs. This experience suggests a lack of initial transparency in pricing for specific procedures, which may be a point of consideration for potential clients.

In contrast, another customer review paints a more positive picture of Healthy Paws Veterinary Care. This reviewer praises the clinic for its friendly staff, cleanliness, and the veterinarian's good bedside manner. They also highlight the moderate pricing and appreciate that the clinic does not engage in upselling or recommending unnecessary procedures. Furthermore, they commend the gentle approach taken with their pets and the knowledgeability of the staff. This positive feedback suggests that Healthy Paws Veterinary Care excels in creating a welcoming and caring environment, and that at least some customers find their pricing to be reasonable and their service ethical.

Based on the available information, it is challenging to definitively describe the environment of Healthy Paws Veterinary Care. However, the positive review mentions a "clean" place, which indicates that the clinic maintains a certain standard of hygiene and comfort for pets and their owners. The friendly demeanor of the staff, as noted by the positive reviewer, likely contributes to a welcoming atmosphere.

The services offered at Healthy Paws Veterinary Care, based on the general nature of a Pet Hospital and the limited information from the reviews, likely include:

  • General health check-ups and wellness exams.
  • Vaccinations and preventative care.
  • Spay and neuter surgeries (as indicated by the negative review, though pricing transparency was an issue for that customer).
  • Dental care services.
  • Diagnostic procedures (implied by the assessment mentioned in the negative review).
  • Treatment for common illnesses and injuries.
  • Other surgical procedures (the extent is not specified).

The contrasting reviews provide different perspectives on the features of Healthy Paws Veterinary Care. A potential feature, based on the negative review, is a policy of not disclosing specific service rates until after an assessment has been paid for. This approach to pricing may be seen as a sales strategy by some clients. On the other hand, positive features highlighted by another customer include a friendly and knowledgeable staff, a clean facility, moderate pricing without unnecessary upcharges, and a gentle approach to handling pets.

Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available for Healthy Paws Veterinary Care in the provided text. The customer reviews offer indirect insights into their service and pricing, but no specific discounts or special offers are mentioned.

In conclusion, Healthy Paws Veterinary Care in Fullerton, CA, operates as a Pet Hospital offering veterinary services to the local community. Customer reviews present a mixed picture. One review raises significant concerns regarding the transparency of their pricing for procedures like kitten neutering and their policy of requiring an assessment before disclosing service rates. This experience led to a negative perception of their customer service. Conversely, another customer reports a positive experience, highlighting the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the cleanliness of the clinic, moderate pricing, and gentle care provided to pets. Potential clients may want to consider these differing perspectives when making decisions about their pet's care. It would be prudent to inquire about the full costs of services upfront to ensure transparency and avoid any unexpected charges. While some customers have had positive experiences with the care and staff at Healthy Paws Veterinary Care, the issue of pricing transparency appears to be a significant concern for at least one pet owner.

We love our vet! They are so friendly, the place is clean, the vet has great bedside manners and the staff are all so nice and friendly. Their pricing is moderate and don't up charge or make you get extra things done. They are very gentle with our fur babies and knowledgable.

Very impressed with the pet centered care here. Came in for a second opinion for my dog’s paw infection. And instead of a quick 5min look and suggesting toe amputation and mass removal, they were able to detail pre -surgical assessment blood work and X-rays to determine best action for my 14yr old dog. Dr. Suh is very considerate, honest and patient with her explanations for determining soft tissue or toe amputation surgery. I highly recommend a consultation with them before surgery.

Amazing service and super friendly. They were so patient with my over anxious and clumsy dog. You can tell they really care about the pets. They explained everything very thoroughly as well. They're definitely going to be our new go to vet :)

Dr Suh is a wonderfully patient and knowledgeable vet. We had been searching for a reliable vet near our home for almost 2 years when we finally tried Healthy Paws. We now bring all of our animals here. Prices are reasonable, staff is great, and they offer quite comprehensive services.
