I had a great experience at Heal Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Dumas. The hospital is modern, clean, and well-kept. The staff is friendly and professional. My 1-year-old pup went in for a check-up and shots, and I was really pleased with the care he received. Dr. Dumas is caring and thorough. Highly recommend!

Jan 24, 2025 · Dr. RodriguezDr. Dumas has provided exceptional care for my dog over the past seven years. We even followed her from her previous practice to Heal because of the trust we have in her. However, my experience with Heal as a whole has been frustrating and disappointing. Annual checkups cost over $1,000, which seems excessive for a veterinary visit, yet I have continued to pay it because of the quality of care Dr. Dumas provides. My pet has been on the same medication for the past five years, yet the clinic is now refusing to refill it unless we complete six-month bloodwork—something that has never been required before. The estimate for this bloodwork exceeds $500. Despite multiple calls, I have yet to hear directly from Dr. Dumas. Instead, I have dealt with various staff members, many of whom have been unprofessional and unhelpful. In the process, they have prescribed and attempted to refill the wrong medication. I first requested the refill on Monday, and as of Saturday, the issue remains unresolved. Heal’s priorities are clear: profits over patient care. Rather than allowing my dog to continue his necessary medication and simply waiting three months for his routine annual checkup, they would rather withhold it and force unnecessary testing. The way this situation has been handled—along with the dismissive and rude treatment from David Rodriguez and several other staff members—makes it clear that this clinic is more focused on money than on the well-being of their patients.
Mar 01, 2025 · Johnny McGuinnessI can't say enough good things about the team at HEAL, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to write a review! I first came to HEAL looking for a vet to handle travel paperwork for a trip to the UK. These folks were pros, knowing exactly how to handle the complicated paperwork and process. They were so good that I switched my dog to their care long-term. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. Dr. Dumas has provided exceptional care for Archie over the years. She is knowledgable, proactive, and always ready with a smile and endless patience for my questions and worries. Most recently, we've dealt with a big infection, and the whole HEAL team has gone above and beyond to make sure Archie received the daily care he needed -- the strongest review I can give is that even after receiving shots every single day, Archie is STILL excited to trot into the office where the HEAL team makes us feel like family. Oh, also, they have lotion in the restrooms and show you the bill before they start treatment. I told you I can't say enough good things about them. Run, don't walk, to make HEAL your veterinary partner. They will love your pet like their own and truly be your partner in your pet's wellbeing.
Dec 12, 2024 · Shanti MathewMy puppy had her rabies vaccine and got really sick, diarrhea and vomiting. With professional and caring attention of the doctor and staff of HEAL, my puppy came home feeling better, excited and playful. I would definitely recommend HEAL
Jan 15, 2025 · Norma MaupinsDr Dumas is amazing. She made me aware of my dogs prognosis, what I could expect as a result of the medications and overall made me feel extremely comfortable moving forward. I love the folks at Heal. Nurse Nigel was also extremely supportive! Thank you all for your care of my puppy!
