I wish I still lived in Harrisonburg for a lot of reasons but one of them was for the animal hospital and the care they provide for our pets. My cat Wayne has allergies and my other cat Banjo recently passed but was adopted as a senior and had a stroke, asthma, bullet fragments, BB’s in him and reoccurring ear, tummy, and respiratory issues. I adopted Banjo at 10 and he lived until 14. Without Harrisonburg Animal Hospital and the care they showed us, and especially Banjo, he would not have lived as long as he did. They’re truly an amazing hospital, amazing doctors, and all around amazing people. Thanks for helping take such good care of my boys when I lived there! - Kylie and Mitch

Mar 05, 2025 · Kylie FormisanoHarrisburg animal Hospital recently performed knee surgery on our lap. I can’t praise them enough for the exceptional care that she received while in their facility. Not only did they go above and beyond for Kimber, but they also were very comforting during her surgery for us as well. They went over every aspect of her care after surgery to ensure Kimber’s surgery will be a success. I would recommend Harrisonburg animal hospital to everyone.
Apr 30, 2025 · Sandra GatesI will ALWAYS swear by HAH. I started here with my first ever dog, Onyx, when I got him as a puppy. Then, 2 yrs. later, my rescue Miri. Miri has a lot of GI problems and the staff is always super helpful. She does have to visit quite a lot when she gets sick and is very anxious. Her favorite vet tech is Skyler! Most recently I started bringing my newest puppy, Fig, here! Fig loves to go to the vet and say hi to everybody. When she broke her leg I was frantic and did not want to take her to the emergency vet, because I have always only trusted HAH. We showed up at their doors right as they opened and they took her back almost immediately. They took the best care of my girl, and they still take the best care of all of my babies! I am so thankful for everybody on the team! The receptionists are so helpful when calling and are efficient with emailing information over. The vet techs are friendly and professional. The doctors do an awesome job explaining things and staying in regular contact! My babies and I love HAH!
Dec 04, 2024 · Grace ShifflettWe started taking our cat here last year after he ended up with an eye ulcer. They were able to get that under control and luckily our cat didn’t need further treatment for that. Since then, we have all 3 of our cats established here because we felt we were in good hands. The front staff is so kind, patient, and welcoming, always. Dr. Ward has helped us now on two urgent issues with two of our cats and she was nothing short of amazing. She’s so kind, thorough, and explains everything in great detail. Both issues were tough ones and she was able to determine the issues at hand and solve the issues. Overall, we feel our beloved pets are in great hands with HAH and we highly recommend them!
Feb 07, 2025 · Stephanie DannerThis is best animal hospital ever. They are friendly, they love animals. Dr Ward caught the cancer on Delilah paw between her toes.
