I have only had great service from Dr. Pendleton and his staff. I had to really old animals euthanized this year. Dr. Pendleton took the time to hand write a sympathy letter as well as send me flowers in condolence of my loss. They will be providing care and support to my 10 year old Golden Retriever for years to come.

Mar 18, 2025 · Philip RichardsonI took Dale, our Bearded Dragon, from our office there last week because he was not feeling well. He has been going through his Brumation period, so he was sleeping a lot and barely eating. His back legs were shaky and I thought that maybe he was dehydrated. We had only had him at this Vet Clinic once before. The office staff were very helpful with getting us in, and Dr. Pendleton was wonderful with Dale. The Doctor gave Dale a shot for inflammation and he was up and moving around better within a couple of days, and his appetite is voracious. Can't Thank them all enough for their care. Dale is a special part of our office and the children love seeing him when they come in. Renee' S.

Feb 08, 2025 · Trevor SuttonMy guinea pig wasn’t eating her hay, urinating a lot, and was losing weight, so I called several vets in my area to see if they took guinea pigs. I used to go to Neffsville, but their pocket pet doctor is no longer working there. I was recommended by the 4 vets I called to go to the Harrisburg Pike Animal Hospital in Lancaster, PA. It was either there or gap. I went into the office with her and I expressed concern that it could be diabetes. Jeffrey dismissed that and said it was probably a UTI (typical vet response). He gave her a shot, Convenia, without telling us any of the possible side effects and really didn’t ask us at all- he just did it. About an hour later, she started sneezing and couldn’t move- a seizure. She was dead within the hour. I called back and they told me that the doctor wasn’t worried about it and it could be a piece of her tooth in her throat. With later research, it was revealed that that drug IS NOT LICENSED FOR GUINEA PIG USE. Please do not go to this vet. If you know anyone in the area who has pocket pets, please share this with them. I’m refusing to pay the $200 vet bill for euthanizing my guinea pig. She was only 4 years and 9 months old and served as an unofficial therapy pet for me. She was the sweetest piggy I’ve ever met. ❤️
