I cannot say enough great things about Dr Cappo, his techs, and some of the front staff. My cat Tilly fell quite ill quite fast to the point where she wouldn’t get up and walk, eat, drink and her skin, ears, and eyes turned yellow. Long story short, she was diagnosed with a deadly disease called FIP. Dr Cappo and his staff (I think the main tech I was with is Kaitlyn but I’m not 100% sure, but she was awesome!) and the front desk staff treated Tilly like their own cat. Everyone was so loving and caring and when she was rushed in as an emergency when she couldn’t breathe, they took her right back and got her stable. I wish I knew the front staff woman’s name who was there comforting me while she was back there because she helped tremendously. She was hospitalized for a week and a few days trying to get her stable enough and now she’s home and she’s doing amazing! Every single day I would get a phone call mid day to let me know how she was doing and I would be there at night to visit and Dr Cappo came in to talk to me every single time to help figure the plan out. Apparently according to multiple people, she became the mascot for a little bit and when she was able to come home, so many people came to say bye to her and it just made me feel so relieved that she was taken such great care of. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Dr Cappo. He saved my spunky monkey’s life and I could not be more grateful! Thank you so much 💕

Today was an extremely hard, emotional, traumatic day.. saying goodbye to my companion Brody after 15 years. I needed to say Jason Hoffman was the veterinarian who saw Brody for a Quality of life assessment was absolutely phenomenal. He was kind, caring, compassionate and most importantly informative. After looking over my sweet girl he gave me the information I needed to make a very hard decision. He supported me in whatever route I had decided but with his findings I no longer wanted my girl to suffer and the idea of putting her through surgery seemed daunting with no real certainty she’d make it through. While today was devastating, Jason made it remotely bearable with his thoughtful words and concern. I highly recommend this animal hospital while you’re navigating a hard decision with your “furever” friends. My highest regards and appreciation to you Jason. Thank you for making a hard day some- what manageable. Goodbye my sweet love. 🌈

First visit with Copper, American Pitbull, rescued Feb 2024 and relocated to PA in July. This was his first true checkup outside of the Camarillo CA shelter. He did great because the facility and staff are great. Our extended family had brought dogs and cats here for over 20 years and we will keep coming back.

The Staff and doctors at Harleysville Vet are always ready to help. If it wasn't for them, my cat would have died. She had a bowel obstruction and kidney problems and they removed the obstruction and were able to get her kidneys more stable so she could continue to live, and have a decent quality of life. They were also willing to accommodate me financially since I have a very low income, and wasn't able to afford the full cost of the procedures. So I'm thankful for that as well. I'm very grateful to them for everything they've done, and I highly recommend this Veterinary practice to anyone who's in the local area.
