Geriatric cat chiropractic service- Lovely caring people. Cat was no where near as stressed as a trip to the vet. Hanging out feeling better as you can see- not hiding under the bed. They also offered great advice for senior cat care.

Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine Introduce

For pet owners in Parkton, Maryland, and the surrounding areas, Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine offers a unique and convenient approach to specialized pet care. Operating under the broader concept of a "Pet Hospital" that provides services for animal well-being, this mobile service focuses on bringing chiropractic care and laser therapy directly to your home. This eliminates the stress associated with transporting pets to a traditional clinic, particularly beneficial for animals with mobility issues, anxiety, or those who are difficult to transport. Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine aims to provide a comfortable and effective treatment experience for your beloved companions in their familiar environment.

The concept of a mobile veterinary service inherently defines its environment. Rather than a fixed clinic, the environment is the pet's own home, which offers a significant advantage in terms of reducing stress, as highlighted in a review concerning geriatric cat chiropractic service. The familiar surroundings can help pets remain calmer and more cooperative during examinations and treatments. This is particularly beneficial for senior pets or those with conditions that make travel difficult or uncomfortable. The practitioner, in this case Dr. Patrick and Nurse Patty (as mentioned in one review, although another refers to "Dr. and Nurse Maziels," suggesting a possible slight variation in names or a typo), comes equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to perform chiropractic adjustments and laser therapy within the pet's home.

The primary services offered by Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine revolve around chiropractic care and laser therapy for pets. Chiropractic for animals involves gentle adjustments to the spine and joints to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support the nervous system. This can be beneficial for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, back pain, neck pain, hip dysplasia, and even behavioral issues that may be related to musculoskeletal discomfort. The positive review regarding a geriatric cat receiving chiropractic service and subsequently feeling better and less stressed underscores the potential benefits of this therapy, especially for older animals.

Laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, is another key service offered. This non-invasive treatment uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain. It can be used for a wide range of conditions, including arthritis, wounds, surgical incisions, and musculoskeletal injuries. The review mentioning a cat, Winny, receiving both chiropractic and laser therapy and showing "big improvements" highlights the potential effectiveness of these combined therapies in addressing complex health issues where traditional veterinary medicine might have limitations.

A significant feature of Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine is the personalized and responsive care provided by Dr. Patrick (or Maziels) and Nurse Patty (or Maziels). One reviewer shared a detailed account of their experience with their cat, Winny, who was exhibiting erratic behavior and tail biting. After their regular vet couldn't offer much help, they were referred to Harford Mobile Veterinary Services. From the initial contact, the experience was described as "wonderful." The team was praised for being "responsive, caring, thoughtful, and trustworthy," which are crucial qualities when entrusting the health of a pet to a new provider.

Transparency and communication are also key features of this service. Before the first visit, they provided an estimate of the procedures and costs for the owner's review and approval, which was greatly appreciated. This proactive approach helps to build trust and ensures that pet owners are fully informed about the financial aspects of their pet's care. Throughout the treatment process, the team remained reachable and attentive, promptly addressing any questions and concerns the owner had. They also took the time to explain the cat's condition, the treatment plan, and the expected outcomes in a way that was clear and understandable to a relatively new pet owner.

The convenience of having a mobile service come directly to the home is another major advantage, particularly for pet owners with animals that are difficult to transport or who experience significant stress during vet visits. The reviewer with two cats, one of whom was challenging to put in a carrier, specifically highlighted the stress-free experience of having Dr. and Nurse Maziels come to their house. This eliminates the anxiety for both the pet and the owner associated with travel and waiting rooms.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided text for Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine. Mobile veterinary services may occasionally offer introductory discounts for new clients or package deals for a series of treatments. To inquire about any current promotions or special offers, local users are encouraged to contact them directly at (410) 456-6707 or +1 410-456-6707. As a mobile service, they may not have a traditional website with easily accessible promotional details, making direct contact the best way to obtain this information.

In conclusion, Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine offers a valuable and unique service for pet owners in Parkton, MD, and the surrounding areas by bringing specialized chiropractic care and laser therapy directly to their homes. The positive reviews highlight the caring and responsive nature of the team, their clear communication, and the stress-free convenience of in-home treatment, particularly for geriatric or anxious pets. While one review focused on the benefits for a geriatric cat, another detailed significant improvements in a cat with erratic behavior through a combination of chiropractic and laser therapy. For pet owners seeking a less stressful alternative to traditional veterinary visits for certain musculoskeletal or pain-related issues, and especially those with pets that are difficult to transport, Harford Mobile Veterinary Services & K9 Spine appears to be an excellent option. Contact them directly to discuss your pet's needs and inquire about their services and any potential promotions.

I have two cats. One of them, Winny started to bit her tail and act erratically. I took her to her regular Veterinary Clinic but they couldn't do much for her. They recommended Harford Mobile Veterinary Services and since the minute I reached them out it has been a wonderful experience! Dr. Patrick and Nurse Patty have been so responsive, caring, thoughtful and trustworthy that it has been such a relief to have them taking care of Winny. Before the first visit, they sent me an estimate of what they would be doing and the cost for my review and approval, which I appreciated. They have started chiropractic and laser therapy and she is already showing big improvements! She is still not out of the woods but I am certain they are doing the right thing with her. They are always reachable and attentive when needed and they have answered any relatable question and concern I have had. They have guided me though what it going on with my kitty and what is the treatment she will be needing and set up expectations. Most importantly, what they have said makes total sense to me! I am a relatively "new" cat owner. I have had my cats for 3 years in total and they are not the type of cats that can be put in their carriers easily. Having Dr. and Nurse Maziels coming to my house to see Winny has been a stress free experience, too! Phew! I cannot recommend them enough!

The Maizels are the most kind and compassionate vets that you could ever want to care for your pets. Recently we have had to say goodbye to 2 of our dogs. They came to our home and were very caring and compassionate. They gave us time to say our good byes and they tended to our pets with such gentleness. They are excellent chiropractic doctors too. They gave us an extra 10 months with our 15 years old, Brett. I definitely recommend them.

Dr Maizels and his wife Patty are truly amazing people. They were both there for us no matter what time of day for both of our Rottweilers through out their lifetime. Dr Maizels is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is just so kind and caring. When it came time for our dogs to cross the rainbow bridge, we could not have asked for better people to be by their side and help them and us get through it with grace and love. There will always be gratitude and love in our hearts for both of them.

I had to have my labs, Hank and Hanna put down in 2022. They both had hypothyroidism and Patrick and Patty gave me extra time with them. Hank had to be put down on Christmas Eve. Patty came to the house at 10:00 at night to help him cross the rainbow bridge. Now they are the vets for my labradoodle puppy. He loves them both and gets very excited when they come. They are very kind and compassionate with the dogs and the owners.
