If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. These people are insufferable. I called this morning to ask about how much it would cost to remove a broken toenail. That’s all. Just an idea or range so I can budget this. Instead of them telling me a good time to bring them in and how much it would be and act like they actually care about the well-being of our fur babies i I was treated like we were an inconvenience and since I had such high-end dogs that maybe I should go somewhere else. I even asked the lady hey are you having a bad day because I’m in a good mood and I’m not sure what the issue is I’m simply asking how much to remove a toenail. She still did not give me a price I had to ask her okay well let’s start over. How much is a visit? She then said it is $35 for the visit on top of what ever the doctor has to do. My response was I know it needs to be done. My dog has a broken toenail. This is not open heart surgery. If you’re an animal clinic then you have done this procedure thousands of times. I’m so sick of businesses surprising you with a huge bill instead of just being transparent and giving an average cost or a range at least. It’s a toenail for God sakes. Even if you look on YouTube, you can watch countless videos of doing it with a little local anesthetic. I just don’t understand people that work in an environment with animals with zero compassion for others. WE do not deserve the love that our fur babies give us and the people that work there should have love, patience, empathy and compassion on a level that is unmatched because they actually care. These people don’t. I was hung up on after she said maybe I should take my animals somewhere else which is just mind blowing to me. I will admit that I assumed this was a county funded clinic and was surprised that people like this talk to taxpayer funded businesses which it is not. When I called her out on how she was speaking to me and I asked if I could speak to the director of a clinic she said “You are.” Very bluntly. When I asked her last name which she only gave me her name Lee, she refused to give her full name for a complaint. I did not think this call was gonna take a turn like this when it should’ve been…. Oh I’m sorry to hear about your dogs toenail. Let’s get you in as soon as we can and get it checked out. It’s only $35 for the visit and he/ she will give you your options and of course there will be an additional charge for procedure options and any anesthetic is used. If this place had any compassion, my appointment would’ve already been scheduled and would have taken a great deal of stress away from our family. So as I was writing this, we just found out we are not the only ones that have had a negative experience with this clinic. It sounds like it’s a reception issue like I said you should have compassion like no other to have that job because you’re going to get hundreds of phone calls a day because people love their fur babies. Hell some even more than their own kids😂 We were just told if you were looking for a compassionate clinic take the trip to Fort Meade veterinary clinic. I was just told they are the kindest clinic they have ever been to and it damn sure doesn’t matter if you have high-end dogs or not. We don’t deserve any of the love they give us no matter where they came from. Some of the best fur babies that’s been in our lives were rescues. I apologize for the long review, but maybe this will save someone from having a negative experience from this business.

As always they were fast and affordable, took my lil boy Bailey there for his first shots, talked to the doc who also seen my Sadie months ago, told him of my horrible experience with having to rush sadie to the humane society and how horrible i was treated, he gave me his card with his personal number incase i ever need him, and they make sure even if you have very low income you can still take care of your pets bc they are very important to us owners and they understand that and not everyone is well off or rich, so thank you doc and staff, this place is amazing 😍🤩❤️ I will never take my pets anywhere else

The wait game is real here. . The doctor looks like he’s 90 years old and has half his family working here . Teenagers who looks like they don’t even wanna be here . The lady at the front is very rude won’t even let me ask a question .. I think someone need to call the state “me” and they will find a whole lot of violations smh Got my dog back with tape wrap on his fur TAPE!!!!!! My poor baby came out of there looking crazy and sad…. Lord … I ansk them to cut the nails annd this what we ended up with half a nail is slide in half so pissed I will b calling whom ever I need to shut this place down .. ya messed around with the right dog Ask the lady when do I come back for a check up she we don’t come back …. I got recommended here for the price but definitely don’t recommend no one here if you love your pet pay the price.

Reading some of these reviews makes me realize most animal lovers are wineasses!! This clinic is busy. They have so many customers, it's ridiculous. Which in itself is a testament of how good they are. Brought my 3 yr old unfriendly pitbull there to get neutered, have his nails done and a growth removed from his paw. They took every measure to make sure everyone was safe, including my dog, RED. Dr. Lovett is an Angel and his staff does what needs to be done to get the job done. Penny, the lady at the front desk was thee best. She made me feel at rase. I was extremely anxious about RED possibly hurting someone. He got meds to calm him down completely, after he started going berserk! They came out to check every few minutes to see if he was calmed and ready. Brought him a muzzle, and didn't make me feel like my dog and I were aliens. This is the only place I'll ever take him. Thank you Dr. Lovett. You actually took the time to advise me on what signage to install on my property to protect myself and my dog. I'm forever grateful for your care. Thank you for being here. ❤️

Incisions and sutures are poorly done and put animals through so much more physical trauma than is necessary. Many animals I’ve seen come out with severe bruising around the incision site and have problems healing quickly. Bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired and staff is overbooked and overworked and it shows in their high stress level which comes across as very rude more often than not. This is the most unprofessional animal clinic I’ve ever been to and I think the people who think it’s a great place haven’t been to any other vets because I absolutely hated going there. It was a bad or uncomfortable experience 99 times out of 100. I appreciate the lower prices they charge for the community and rescues but I would never bring my own animals there. I’d rather pay more for an infinitely better experience for myself and my pets.

Hardee animal clinic is well worth the drive! They're set up is to keep animals from interfering with each other so you never have to worry about your dogs getting into it with other dogs or cats.
