Happy Tails Veterinary Center

As a result of frequent moves, ive been to many vet clinics over the years and Happy tails is one of my favorites. Vet care is expensive as is the Denver area, so I can’t speak much to the prices—but the staff are wonderful. Direct but empathetic; and they’ve done a great job with my cat who is harmless but tends to make vet staff nervous with his loud vocalizations (mainly growling). They’ve also been so helpful and accommodating in helping me get last minute appointments and coordinating drop-off care as needed—which is so helpful when you have a sick pet and all the stress that brings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first visit to Happy Tails Vet was for my dog, Sophie, that was having complications with a heart murmur. Sadly the decision was made to let her rest in peace. While this was obviously a hard situation for me I found that the doctor, Dr Cohen, and her assistant, Holland, were so helpful. They were very kind and explained everything well. I highly recommend this vet clinic and will be an ongoing customer when I decide to bring another dog into our family. Thank you again! ♥️

The staff at Happy Tails is amazing!. We have 4 dogs and 1 very handsome cat, needless to say we are at the clinic more then most. Regardless if it's a routine visit or an emergent issue they always do their best to have us seen promptly. I believe that their prices are fair and the aftercare follow-up is amazing! Our family highly recomends Happy Tails!!!

I used to go to Happy Tails for my previous pets and always had a great experience. I moved further away and went to another vet, but my dog was not a fan. I decided to take my new dog back there when she was having some urinary problems. Dr Nivicki was amazing. He was caring, and very sweet with my dog. She absolutely loved him and the techs. I decided to go to them for her dental because she was so comfortable with him. After scheduling and taking her in for the work, I was informed they would have to take her off Anesthesia because of her heart rate. While I greatly appreciated this, it has become a nightmare from then on. I spent ~$1000 for a complete blood panel (that ended up only being tested for heartworm) The dental, and medication. I know that dental work is not cheap, but this is my main concern for this review. I was charged a lot for work that was not completed. My dog had to get more X-rays, and now has to get another complete dental done. So $3000 later, she will finally be relieved. I spoke to the office manager asking for some compensation because I do feel that it’s fair I get some back because the dental specialist we had to end up with said she will have to clean my dogs teeth again because it was not complete. The manager, Audrey started to raise her voice and talk over me when I asked for more than just bloodwork refunded. I understand they should be paid, but I should not have to pay twice for work that wasn’t done in the first place. Audrey tried to tell me that the teeth may need cleaning because of time passing … it has been a week and a half. Plaque doesn’t grow that fast. My advice when going here is to make sure they’ve completed what they’ve said BEFORE leaving.

We have been with Happy Tails since our puppy was 4 months. He is 8.5 now. We love the place and all the doctors. Front desk people are very friendly too. Adam and Heather are awesome. Our dog has a lot of anxiety going to the vet but the staff always works with us keeping everyone safe and calm. I will recommend it to other pet owners.
