Receptionists are kind and knowledgeable. There are no issues there. However, the Dr. Has a lot to learn when it comes to bedside manner and personal interactions with customers. I was told my dog was sick due to him falsely accusing me of not finishing an anti bacterial regiment prescribed over 2 years prior. Only after digging up the paperwork proving he was wrong and didn't remember did he begrudgingly consider other reasons for my dogs illness. The second star is only because of the help and kindness from your receptionist. Other than that, 1 star is generous

I just wanted to share our experience here although it happened a long time ago. We took our small chihuahua for a routine teeth cleaning which she had done before without issues. She was in good health overall. We later got a call that she died because her heart wasn’t strong. Which we had never been told she had a heart problem. It was heartbreaking because our dog was our everything. Later on that day I called to apologized for the way my dad reacted towards staff bc he was very emotionally upset and in shock. This is what concerned me the most, the receptionist told me herself that SHE was the one who was doing the cleaning and her daughter just got hired which makes me suspicious that Doc is letting untrained and unskilled staff who never went to school for even being a vet assistant perform the dental cleaning. They aren’t even qualified to be doing that, the VET should have been. So I’m 100000000% sure they overdosed our small chihuahua with whatever medication they used to put her under since she was only 3lb’s. Have never been back since. I would never trust this place to professionally perform ANYTHING if their front staff is the one doing it.

If you have fur babies, their health and happiness means a lot. Hampton Animal Hospital staff is nothing short of professional and gentle attending to all. They make sure each visit for our dogs is treated like their first time. They give lots of hugs and even treats after services are rendered. I've never seen my dogs so.excited about going to the Vet. They actually whine as we get closer to the location anticipating going in to see the doctor's assistants. They honor veterans with a small discount thanking us for our service and sacrifice. The doctor takes time explaining treatment and medication regimen when necessary. They also do their best to make your pet feel safe and comfortable as the doctor examines or while administering vaccinations. I also appreciate the staff for sending reminder mailings whenever it's time for our pets to receive their treatments. Prices are reasonable, and the facility is clean. Dr. Reddy and staff are so wonderful with Archie my Shih Tzu Bichon. Archie looks forward to going to the vet too! ❤️They are very professional, take great care, and affordable too. We had a highly concerning experience with Dr. Raj V. Reddy, DVM. At Hampton Park Animal Hospital During our initial visit, Dr. Reddy did not bother to examine my dog, even when we specifically requested it. He seemed irritated when we requested that he examine our dog, which should be a standard part of any veterinary visit. Especially when prescribing medications. Moreover, the room we were taken into had not been cleaned after the previous dog, and the staff showed annoyance when we asked for it to be cleaned. The most alarming issue was that Dr. Reddy prescribed my 13lb dog an allergy medication dosage meant for a 60lb dog. When we informed the clinic of this serious mistake, the response was aggressive and unprofessional. They even threatened to call the police because we wanted to speak with the doctor and initially refused to provide a correct prescription. Dr. Reddy suggested we simply break the pill into fourths, which the pharmacist later told us would result in an uneven distribution of the medication, posing a risk of overdose. Additionally, the receptionist's behavior was unacceptable. She was rude to my me, English is not my first language, and while asking her a question over the phone, and hung up on me and did not pick up the phone when I called back. In contrast, she was overly polite to my daughter, likely because she is fluent in English. When we visited in person, she continued to be disrespectful to me and went as far as to dramatically rip up my dog's prescription in front of me when I asked for a correction to it (she misspelt). When I finally spoke to Dr. Reddy, he said that she was crazy. This experience was not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous for my dog. I would strongly advise against visiting Dr. Raj V.
