Called to ask for a second opinion on carcinoma in my horses mouth prior to euthanization and the woman working the phone was very rude. She continued to ask for my credit card, showed zero sympathy and then told me the vet was on their way to euthanize when that’s not what I asked. I’m not sure if the vet is a good vet but the woman working the phone/front desk should be fired and is not contributing to clientele.

Interesting doesn't begin to describe this tour! Sarah, our guide, was so nice and knowledgeable. You can tell how much she and the entire staff care about their patients. No surgery was being done when I was there, but there was plenty to see, and Sarah did an excellent job explaining what happens. I learned about quarantine, surgery, the medical side, and was surprised to learn there is even a NICU! If you want to round out your knowledge of horse country, you must see Hagyard - I learned so much!

Cannot comprehend the level of unprofessionalism in this place. TAKE NOTE, that there are suddenly new reviews applauding the two-face that is Sarah Escaro. Those are there to try to cover up her nasty behavior. They are trying to cover for a horrible employee and honestly seem to think she is worth their reputation... it's telling of the company. I am sure the other doctors are fine but, they want to chose her over their reputation. Oh well! The horse social groups im in online are discussing this currently and making sure to inform locals.. And they are private so this won't be buried. They will probably try to take this review down, but I will be keeping record of that. After all it is just more proof of the coverup. Hope they handle it properly ..

I am so grateful for the staff at Hagyard! My gelding needed a stifle screw. Surgery went well and he is recovering at home now. Everyone I came in contact with was so kind to us. From the office, to pharmacy, to the staff in the barns taking care of the horses- everyone greeted us with smiles and kind words. My horse was treated like royalty and I was very comfortable leaving him there for a couple nights. Thank you, Hagyard!

Incredibly unprofessional staff and management which is a shame because they do have good vets on staff. Instead of internally handling one of their ‘vets’ incredibly offensive and uncalled for text messages to their clients they have decided to punish their clients for speaking out against mistreatment by contacting their PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT to get them fired. Not at all a company I would trust with any personal information.
