Hagstette Jessica DVM Introduce
This introduction focuses on Hagstette Jessica DVM, a veterinary care provider located at 5130 Camino Al Norte, North Las Vegas, NV 89031, USA. Operating within the "Pet Hospital" category, Hagstette Jessica DVM offers veterinary services to the local pet-owning community. They can be reached at (702) 304-8387 or via mobile phone at +1 702-304-8387 for inquiries, appointments, and to address pet health concerns.
To provide an objective overview, it is essential to consider the experiences shared by pet owners who have interacted with Hagstette Jessica DVM. Online reviews offer valuable, albeit sometimes contrasting, perspectives on the quality of care, services, and overall experience.
One customer shared a positive experience, particularly highlighting the affordability and honesty they encountered during an emergency visit. They described receiving treatment for their pet, including medication, for a total cost of $300, even after stating a limited budget. This positive review emphasizes the veterinarian's willingness to work within financial constraints and their transparent communication regarding costs. The customer used terms like "awesome" and "reasonable," indicating a high level of satisfaction with the service received during what was likely a stressful situation.
In stark contrast, another customer reported a deeply negative and distressing experience. This review raises significant concerns about the standard of care provided. The pet owner recounted a situation where their dog, experiencing seizures, was prescribed an anti-convulsant with a subsequent instruction to reduce the dosage. This reduction allegedly triggered a cluster of seizures. Upon contacting the clinic, they were advised to bring their actively seizing dog in for intravenous medication. However, upon arrival, they were reportedly informed an hour later that the necessary anti-convulsant (Keppra) was not in stock, despite the dog needing it. The pet was then allegedly sent home while still seizing. Tragically, the dog had to be euthanized after enduring 24 hours of continuous seizures. The reviewer further claimed delays and difficulties in communication between the vet's office and a pharmacy regarding valium suppositories, suggesting a critical "golden hour" was lost. The review concludes with a strong warning to avoid this veterinarian, citing concerns about being "money hungry and incompetent" and emphasizing the importance of animal welfare.
Considering these two diametrically opposed reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment without further information. The positive review suggests a compassionate and cost-conscious approach in at least one instance, particularly during an emergency. The negative review, however, paints a picture of potentially severe negligence with devastating consequences. It raises critical questions about diagnostic procedures, medication management, emergency preparedness (stocking essential drugs), and communication protocols.
As a local user considering Hagstette Jessica DVM for your pet's care, it is crucial to weigh these contrasting experiences carefully. The services typically offered by a veterinarian in the "Pet Hospital" category generally include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostics (like blood tests, X-rays), dental care, and surgical procedures. Emergency care may also be offered, as indicated by one of the reviews. However, the availability of specific medications and the protocols for handling emergencies appear to be areas of significant concern based on the negative feedback.
Potential features of Hagstette Jessica DVM might include a physical examination area, diagnostic equipment, a pharmacy for dispensing medications, and potentially surgical facilities. However, the negative review casts doubt on the reliability of the in-house pharmacy for critical medications. The environment of the clinic is not described in the provided information.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Hagstette Jessica DVM in the provided data. Therefore, local users would need to contact the clinic directly to inquire about any special offers, pricing structures for various services, or payment options.
In conclusion, Hagstette Jessica DVM in North Las Vegas has received both positive feedback regarding affordability and honesty in one emergency situation and a severely negative review alleging negligence and incompetence with tragic consequences. Without additional information or more consistent feedback, it is difficult to provide a definitive assessment of their overall quality of care. Local users should consider these contrasting experiences and perhaps seek further information or testimonials before making a decision about entrusting their pet's health to this veterinarian. Direct communication with the clinic to understand their protocols, emergency procedures, and medication availability is strongly recommended.

Apr 01, 2025 路 KrisAvoid this veterinarian at all cost. She prescribed anti convulsants to my dog then had me cut back on the dosage. Which sent my dog into a cluster of seizures. After calling and being told I needed to bring in my actively seizing dog for intervenes meds to help pull her out of the seizures. This is what I did. They gave her intervenes valuum but no Keppra which was the anti-convulsant she needed. So instead of telling me this before I brought her in they waited an hour after bringing her in to tell me they didn't have any of the anticonvulsant in stock. Then sent me home will a still actively seizing dog. Needless to say we had to put her down after suffering 24 hours of strait horror. We called and found a pharmacy with some valuim suppositories and it took her office several critical hours to correlate with the pharmacy. That golden hour was initially lost because this vet was money hungry and incompetent. If you care about your animals avoid this lady.

She cared for our family鈥檚 2 cats throughout their lives, and she kindly took the time to discuss medical conditions and options.
