Hackett Animal Clinic

I want to share my experience with this clinic, which, while offering low prices, unfortunately falls short in terms of communication and transparency. My elderly father brought his dog in for treatment of a life-threatening infection. After paying $1,500, he brought the dog home, only for her condition to worsen, requiring another visit. When he returned, he waited for at least two hours to get into an exam room, and by the time they were seen, it was clear that it was too late. If anyone at the clinic had taken just a moment to assess the dog's condition sooner, she wouldn't have had to suffer for hours before ultimately needing euthanasia. The vet was aware of the risks associated with the initial surgery and knew that the infection could worsen, but failed to act with the urgency the situation required. The next day, I went back to address this concern. I had reviewed the medical records from both appointments and simply wanted to understand why no one checked on my fathers dog sooner. Instead of offering a sincere apology or explanation, the vet focused on reiterating the details already written in the medical papers, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. It's Incredibly frustrating to see such a preventable failure due to poor communication and a lack of urgency. I believe that with better transparency and timely follow-up, this situation could have been avoided. I sincerely hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously to improve its care and communication in the future.

Great place, long wait but friendly service with great prices. I go there for all my animal needs. Dogs, cats, goats, guiena pigs, etc

Very knowledgeable and willing to treat special need animals. Price for services is reasonable. Excellent and quality care for my dog and cat. Definitely recommend.

The staff is very friendly! My pup Roxy is such a handful and gets so anxious but they are very patient with her! Before I got Roxy I had a pup that had EPI and as soon as I told the vet what was going on, she knew right away! All other vets kept saying i was feeding my dog the wrong food but even putting my other pup on foods they recommended the problem was still there. I am so grateful for Hacketts Animal Clinic!!

A+ for being the only walk-in clinic in my area. Building is old and could use a good deep cleaning/remodeling but the staff was friendly, the doctor was knowledgeable and we were seen in a timely manner. Will return for all my non-emergency needs.
