I have been to Dr Ward in the past and found her knowledgeable and compassionate. I now have a beautiful kitty we think has cancer. I called for an appointment and received the answering machine telling me to leave a message with all pertinent info and “only” leave one message. I called several times that day since it was a Friday and my vet wanted to get a sonogram. Checking their website it showed “not very busy” “LIVE” feed around noon. I did call again and left a second message. I couldn’t let my little girl go all weekend without help so I called my vet at Palmetto Animal Clinic who told me to come in. At 2:00pm I received a call from Dr Ward’s office from a perky little voice asking for information. When I asked when I could come in, she said March 17. I explained I didn’t think she would last that long and was told in that perky little voice, “well, maybe you should just go somewhere else or call Palmetto Animal Clinic.” There isn’t a pet owner with a sick pet that wouldn’t be upset and shocked by her response. Unfortunately Dr Ward is the only oncologist in this area, so not much a pet owner can do and I know she must be very busy but I’m so disappointed with this situation.

Mar 08, 2025 · Linda DavisAmazing and compassionate care when needed desperately for gravely ill kitten. Great follow up. Wouldn’t have my Jasper if it hadn’t been for them.
Nov 17, 2024 · Kristina MelvinI can't thank Dr. Ward and her staff enough! They are all so kind and compassionate. Dr. Ward is also very knowledgeable! Test are done very quickly in office. We had spent weeks back and forth going to other hospitals with long waits on test and results. I wish we came to her sooner. They also take the time to go over everything to make sure you understand the care.
Dec 12, 2024 · Kaelin MartinThank you Dr. Ward and your caring staff for treating my dog Rio during his emergency. Your fast action and discovery of his problem saved his life. We are so thankful for your actions and referral of his surgery which took place the same day at Epic in St.Petersburg. Rio has made a full recovery and is enjoying his beautiful life.
