5-Star Review for Groesbeck Animal Hospital I can’t say enough good things about Groesbeck Animal Hospital. My first experience with them was when I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down. The staff was incredibly compassionate during such a difficult time. More recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Betsy, who had an abscess that ruptured on a Saturday at 4pm, right before they were about to close. Even though they could have turned us away, they stayed open to help us, which was such a relief. The doctor was amazing— they quickly shaved the area, examined it, and reassured me that this was fairly common. They prescribed antibiotics and scheduled a follow-up for two weeks later. The best part? The total cost was only $119.00! They could have easily charged much more, but they were honest and fair, which is rare to find. Groesbeck Animal Hospital has gained a loyal customer for life. Betsy and I thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and incredible care!

We absolutely love Dr K and the staff is always so polite and very helpful.. we have 3 pitties, our babies.. The Dr takes time with your visit we don't ever feel rushed when we see him. Be patient at times they are very busy. I'd also say it's always clean, reasonable prices... We are very pleased and we highly recommend taking your pet...we are very pleased with staff & Dr. K is the best.....

We brought in our little dude Ozzy for a checkup, and unfortunately had to have him put down. Thank you for being so damn nice to us, giving our buddy the love he needed, letting us grieve as long as we needed to, and please give your wonderful little fat ass orange cat some more treats and love for us. Thank you.

I had a small emergency situation with one of my chihuahuas and my regular vet was booked solid and couldn't see her, so I called around and this place was super nice, told me to bring her and offered me some options. Did not mention extra charges, or charges to keep my appointment time. I was warmly greeted at the front desk, everyone was very nice and compassionate. My little fur baby received the treatment she needed and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I was really happy with services, turnaround time and pricing. They made me feel like they really cared about my dog, treated her with care and compassion, as she is a rescue and super timid/nervous... and she did great. Very happy with care I received at this place. Will highly recommend to anyone who has pets.

I first took my female 15 year old Chocolate Lab here when I had to put her down. The doctor here was very kind. The only strange thing was he didn’t seem to notice for about 15 minutes that her bladder had let go. My son was so torn up about it, I just didn’t want to say anything. I got a Pup - a male yellow Lab this time, & he grew too fast - his legs started swelling & he had I think HOD. I’ve never heard of it before & I’ve had Labs all my life. It certainly wasn’t in the papers I got from the breeder but the doctor again was very sympathetic & said it was pretty common. I think people want these giant Labs & breeders are trying to do too much but he’s fine. Watch out for it, tho. It’s scary. He’s 5 years old now (87 pounds of vanilla pudding) & he’s got allergies from the neighbors black walnut trees. It took me years to figure it out but i knew that the toxin they give off is everywhere - the leaves, branches, the roots, the drip line of the entire trees & these 3 trees are massive! That means the soil is poisoned, too. I knew that because certain plants won’t grow in my yard. It didn’t connect until this fall, the dogs eat the grass for their tummies. The grass has the toxin in it, too. I looked it up & yep, dogs are allergic to black walnuts!! So, when I took him in for his rabies and asked the doc to check his skin for allergic reactions he said he had a massive skin & ear infection. Now, I’ve had Labs all my life & I’m 60 now, so I know to care for their ears. I was shocked! His ears way deep were just awful & he was hurting when they cleaned them. He’s just such a sweet dog, he didn’t say anything. They did a great job helping me not only with caring for my boy, but helped with the budget, too. I highly recommend this vet
