My dogs have been going there for years . We called sat may 3.. my lab who is over 17 years old and was laying in his own urine and bowel movements we called to bring them in and the receptionist was dismissive and said there nothing we can do we’re booked.. and didn’t even care she’s also the one I spoke to often with a attitude. The other vet in town made sure we came in to possibly put him down and was very caring. I will NEVER bring my animals back there they used to be nice and helpful.

May 03, 2025 · Kristin SocallEdit: I'm just going to continue to brag on this Veterinary hospital staff. My older dog became very sick very quickly after adopting a shelter puppy. She was very sick with kennel cough. The pup had it for a day and a half with only a few coughing fits and that's all the problems he had from kennel cough. My older dog, however, wasn't so lucky. My poor baby hacked and coughed all day long and it was a wet sounding cough. Her symptoms were immediate and hit her hard, barely any time between coughing fits. Called Greenview that day and was given an appointment very quickly. Dr. Hensley and his ENTIRE staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and my baby had their full undivided attention within minutes of getting there. He explained everything to a T and took his time explaining and answering all my questions until we were both on the same page. As long as Dr Hensley is at this office, we will ALWAYS bring our animals to him and his wonderful staff. Within 4 hrs of her first dose of medication, after we were home, her coughing was cut by at LEAST 80%. She was running and playing with the new pup and back to her old self without the coughing involved. I thought I'd be paying a heftier bill because this wasn't your normal vet visit but I was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised by how low the bill was. It was at least a third of what I thought it would cost me. The low price is just a bonus though as price doesn't matter when it comes to my dogs. I'll sell my entire worldly possessions to make sure they live happy and healthy. I literally can not thank this entire office staff and Dr Hensley enough. Greenview Animal Hospital is full of great people who make a massive difference in pets and their humans lives daily. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when he said she was sick but would be fine as we had caught it early, and then more so when she became noticeably better. You can't put a price on that. My dog has allergic dermatitis and the other vet we took her to wanted to just keep giving her Depo Medrol shots which DID NOT help her (Thanks Northside Animal Hospital for draining our money, making our dog continue to get poked unnecessarily, and not helping her at all) Brought her to Greenview and they fixed her right up in ONE VISIT and my baby girl is feeling and looking SOOOO much better. The entire staff here is so friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you so much for helping our baby girl and making her happier and full of life again!
Dec 10, 2024 · April OsborneThis is my dog after seeing the vet. My wife takes Saddie in to see vet and this was all a 5 minute interaction. Didn’t do a thing for my just said give her peptide. I’m like what? Get her home that afternoon she started getting worse so we decided to get a second opinion . Come to find out her uterus bursted and we had to put her to sleep. The vet in Franklin asked what vet we went to. We told them greenway veterinary in Hohenwald Tn. They said well he should have caught that. Your Saddie could’ve had surgery and lived if greenway would have been more professional. I would not bring my a pet here under no circumstances. Very unprofessional! I give them a F for not doing there job!
Oct 09, 2024 · Brad GrahamDr Hensley has always been wonderful with our pets. However, the colleague he works with is inept and my cat is now dead because of his gross negligence. My cat went into anaphylactic shock from the antibiotic that the provider gave him without monitoring him or explaining potential side effects to my husband before leaving. I called during business hours asking to bring him back due to him having respiratory distress and was told to go to an emergency vet that is over an hour away from where I live, when I could have been to their office in 20 minutes before they closed. I’m heartbroken and his death could have been prevented. I called them to let them know what happened and all the receptionist could say is that the medication that was administered is commonly given as their excuse for poor care. The picture is in memory of my precious baby.
Jun 14, 2024 · Brandi WeberOk prices and easy to get a quick appointment on short notice. Front desk and people that answer the phone are courteous enough, but not exactly friendly or welcoming. The care staff, however, are bright and cheerful, treating my dogs well and that's why I continue to return. ******** UPDATE: My last visit with new puppy was initiated with a request of bordetella shots included because I wanted to schedule a Grooming appointment soon. I get to groomer and we notice that the receipt simply says "puppy vaccines", no specifics. I call Greenview office and was told that they don't give bordetella to puppy's under 12wks. #1 On appointment date 8/19, my puppy was 3 days shy of 12wks. #2 NO ONE TOLD ME!!! Not a single word was said when I scheduled or arrived at appointment- both times I conveyed the need for bordetella. The desk clerk was very dismissive and nonchalant when I expressed my frustration and concern over their blunder. Communication is important. How do you expect to play a role in reducing the spread of animal diseases without proper communication and efforts??? The clerks at this office display a lack of customer service and passion for the animals they treat.
