My sincerest apologies to the staff, clientele and patients, of Greenfield Vet Clinic. I misunderstood a message that I received from Cindy, the owner, and wrote an angry review that just wasn't fair once Cindy explained the meaning of her phone message to me. Please, know that you're animal will receive very good care here. I for one, am keeping my cat here. Just know, that sometimes it may take a day or two to get a call back, but they will call. Being down a Veterinarian and having a National shortage of Veterinarians, means that some things just move a little slower. Again, my sincerest apologies.

Welcome to Greenfield Veterinary Clinic
Greenfield Veterinary Clinic, located at 18 French King Hwy, Greenfield, MA 01301, USA, stands as a dedicated "Pet Hospital" serving the local community. They are reachable via phone at (413) 774-9919 or mobile at +1 413-774-9919. This clinic is committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care with a strong emphasis on compassion and personalized attention for every animal patient.
The environment at Greenfield Veterinary Clinic is designed to be welcoming and reassuring for both pets and their owners. Understanding that a visit to the vet can be stressful, the clinic strives to create a calm atmosphere. While specific details about the physical layout are not provided, client testimonials consistently praise the staff's efforts to make pets feel "safe and comfortable." This suggests a thoughtful approach to animal handling, possibly incorporating techniques that reduce anxiety, such as gentle restraint, positive reinforcement, and a quiet examination setting. The clinic also aims to make owners "feel at ease," indicating a focus on clear communication and a supportive environment for human clients as well. The overall ambiance is one of caring professionalism, where the well-being of the animal is paramount, and efforts are made to ensure a positive experience for all.
Greenfield Veterinary Clinic offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, addressing various aspects of pet health. Their core offerings include preventative care, which is crucial for maintaining a pet's long-term health. This typically involves routine wellness examinations, tailored vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and effective parasite control programs (fleas, ticks, heartworm). They also provide nutritional counseling, helping owners make informed decisions about their pet's diet for optimal health. Beyond prevention, the clinic handles various medical cases, offering diagnostics through in-house laboratory testing and potentially external lab services for more specialized tests. While specific details on advanced imaging (like X-rays or ultrasound) are not explicitly mentioned in the provided information, a full-service "Pet Hospital" typically includes such capabilities. Surgical services would also be a standard offering, covering routine procedures like spays and neuters, as well as soft tissue surgeries. Dental care is another vital service provided, including professional cleanings and extractions to maintain oral health, which is closely linked to overall systemic health in pets.
A significant feature of Greenfield Veterinary Clinic, as highlighted by customer reviews, is the exceptional quality of care provided by its veterinary professionals, particularly Dr. McCutchen, and the entire support staff. One client specifically praises Dr. McCutchen, stating, "My dog boots has been going to see dr. McCutchen for 7 years now. I really like her a lot. She really listens and takes the time to explain if I have any questions or concerns. I just want to thank her for such a great job." This emphasizes Dr. McCutchen's commitment to attentive listening, clear communication, and thorough explanations, which are vital for building trust with pet owners. Furthermore, the staff's dedication is consistently lauded: "And the staff are so great they really go out of there way to make sure boots feels safe and comfortable. And they all really go out of there way to make me feel at ease and I thank you for that." This indicates a team-wide commitment to compassionate handling of animals and empathetic communication with their owners, creating a supportive environment during what can often be stressful times. The clinic's ability to maintain high-quality care despite challenges, as noted in one review about being "down a Veterinarian and having a National shortage of Veterinarians," further underscores their resilience and dedication to their patients and clients.
In terms of promotional information, the insights from customer reviews provide valuable context. The first review, initially negative but then corrected, highlights the challenges faced by the clinic due to veterinarian shortages: "Just know, that sometimes it may take a day or two to get a call back, but they will call. Being down a Veterinarian and having a National shortage of Veterinarians, means that some things just move a little slower." This transparent communication, even if initially misunderstood, serves as important information for prospective clients. It indicates that while the clinic is highly dedicated and provides excellent care, patience might be required for non-urgent communication, reflecting a reality in the veterinary industry. This honesty, coupled with the genuine apologies and correction from the client, actually reinforces the clinic's integrity and commitment to client relationships. The positive testimonials about Dr. McCutchen's attentive approach and the staff's kindness are powerful forms of promotion, attracting clients seeking a caring and communicative veterinary team. While specific promotional offers (e.g., discounts, new client specials) are not provided in the given information, the clinic's strongest promotion comes from its established reputation for compassionate, thorough care and its dedicated team. The fact that a client chose to "keep my cat here" despite a minor communication delay speaks volumes about the overall trust and satisfaction they have in the care provided at Greenfield Veterinary Clinic. This sustained positive relationship with clients, built on trust and excellent care, is the most valuable promotional asset for any "Pet Hospital."

Aug 11, 2021 · DawnThey were a good vet when they first opened. Now the woman is all about money and tries to charge top dollar for doing next to nothing. She's rude and has a fake attitude. She tries to push you into paying for tests and procedures that are not needed. You won't walk outta there without paying more than 300 dollars
Jan 21, 2023 · Jeffrey DahlstromEveryone here is so kind, so wonderful, and clearly loves animals. Dr McCutchen (and every single person on her staff) is so amazingly kind and good with animals. She never criticizes, recommends products/approaches honestly - including mentioning possible downsides to any product or practice - and clearly loves animals deeply. All of the staff from start to finish, but especially Dr McCutchen were so gentle and patient with my elderly, fussy, anxious old dog and despite walking in there with an overdue vaccination and general lack of preparation she was kind, explained things simply, and treated our family so well. I would recommend Greenfield Vet Clinic to everyone and plan to get my cats transferred to her practice soon as well.
