It is disheartening to see such bad reviews on such a fantastic veterinary hospital. On valentine's day my 11 year old lab collapsed in our yard and vomited when she was taken out, she suddenly was very painful and could barely stand. We rushed her to greenbrier after calling and she was immediately taken back as she quickly started declining. My girl had a very strange case of colonic torsion and the team at Greenbrier worked tirelessly to figure out what was causing Abbi to be so unwell, giving me plenty of updates along the way. She had a very complex condition and Greenbrier did not give up on her, even when I was losing hope that I'd be coming home without my retired service dog. Abbi underwent surgery almost immediately after they confirmed what was wrong and they made sure she was spoiled afterwards. She had a wonderful few days at home with me while she began to recover. Unfortunately even with surgery and she had a sudden complication 4 days into recovery, and we rushed her in again a second time; to which their team was incredibly quick to triage her and get her more comfortable with how quickly she was going downhill. We ended up losing Abbi as there was nothing more we could do, but Greenbrier took absolutely phenomenal care of her and did everything they could with how complex her surgery had been. I will always be grateful for the amount of love and effort that went into taking care of my girl, those few days where she was recovering and pain free meant the world to me. I hope I will never have to take our remaining pup to an emergency hospital, but if I do I will rest easy knowing we have such a good hospital nearby.

Mar 09, 2025 · Keeley WelshGoing to an emergency vet is absolutely not how us, or our kitties, would choose to spend our time but if it had to be anywhere it should be Greenbrier. The staff is incredible; everyone was so wonderful, helpful, and kind it is impossible to shoutout just one person. We were able to get some rest knowing that our kitty was in good hands and getting quality care from people who really care. I highly recommend Greenbrier and I can't say thank you enough!!! I also feel they are reasonable financially and really try to work with you and listen to you.
Mar 06, 2025 · OliviaDr. Dyer and the entire staff at Greenbrier were amazing. We have an elderly dog who had a major surgery and some post op complications. They took amazing care of him and updated us often about his progress. I am so thankful for their care and compassion!
Mar 24, 2025 · Hannah ThackerOur one year old cat decided Thanksgiving would be a great time to eat the rubbery end of a silly pen with eyes on it, causing a stomach blockage. I was so worried about him but the staff were amazing from beginning to end and had him good as new after extracting the foreign objects without delay. Thank you Dr. Antonucci, the vet techs, and others unknown who took excellent care of our little guy. They had a lot of emergencies today and they provided top notch care!
Nov 29, 2024 · Kelly GarrettOne of our mini dachshunds got a random allergic reaction in the middle of the night and we took her to Greenbrier Emergency Animal Hospital. They were extremely attentive, welcoming and thorough in their analysis and treatment. We were very pleased with everyone we came in contact with and felt comfortable with our dog’s care. We also were pleasantly surprised at their prices. We will definitely use them again (but we hope we don’t need to!)
