Our greyhound Thunder Bolt absolutely loves his friend Victoria, a vet tech, who is always excited to see see him & give him lots of attention when he comes in. She's always been wonderful, caring and gentle with him. We also really like Dr. Alicia Fai! She's attentive, caring, gentle, and is great about explaining everything. The ladies at the reception desk are always very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this specific doctor!! Unfortunately we did have an unpleasant experience with the newest doctor. He was rough with our dog who ripped 2 of the webbing on his foot, & was hurting to stand already. The doctor pulled his leg, too high in the air & out too wide, to look at it & our poor dog almost fell over. Then he yanked his toes apart and squeezed his foot really hard, causing him to whimper, shake and his foot to bleed profusely all over the floor (which it wasn't doing when we got there). He had to surgically repair the foot. The day after surgery, I called to let them know about how the Dr was rough and we insisted that Dr Fai would handle all of our visits from then on. Our post-op visits went great after that. As long as our favorite staff are there, we will continue to trust them with our fur baby and his care!

Based on feedback from our valued clients, Green Valley Veterinary Clinic offers a welcoming and friendly environment. Many pet owners have highlighted the exceptional care provided by specific members of our team. Victoria, a dedicated veterinary technician, is frequently praised for her enthusiastic and gentle approach, making pets like Thunder Bolt, a greyhound, feel comfortable and loved during their visits. Clients appreciate her attentiveness and the genuine care she shows towards their animals.
Dr. Alicia Fai is another highly regarded member of our veterinary team. She is consistently described as attentive, caring, and gentle, taking the time to thoroughly explain diagnoses and treatment plans to pet owners. This clear communication and compassionate approach instill confidence and trust in her expertise.
The reception staff at Green Valley Veterinary Clinic are also commended for their politeness and helpfulness, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment you arrive. Their efficiency and friendly demeanor contribute to a stress-free visit for both you and your pet.
However, it is important to acknowledge all feedback to provide a balanced and objective introduction. Some recent experiences shared by pet owners indicate areas where the clinic can improve. One customer reported a negative encounter with a newer doctor, describing a rough handling of their injured dog that allegedly exacerbated the injury and caused significant distress. This incident resulted in the need for surgical repair and understandably raised concerns about the consistency of care provided by all practitioners at the clinic. The client's insistence on future appointments being handled by Dr. Fai highlights the importance of consistent and gentle handling, especially for animals in pain.
Another concerning review detailed the poor experience of an elderly couple who had an appointment to euthanize their suffering dog. They reportedly waited for an extended period of 1.5 hours in a room with their pet in pain, with no explanation for the delay. Furthermore, they observed other clients who arrived later being seen first. This situation raises serious questions about appointment management, communication, and customer care, particularly during sensitive times. The lack of a follow-up call after the customer attempted to discuss their concerns further compounds the negative impression.
The cost of euthanasia for a 69-pound dog was mentioned as being just under $350. While this provides some insight into pricing for this specific service, it is advisable for pet owners to inquire about the costs of various procedures and services beforehand and potentially compare prices with other local veterinary clinics to make informed decisions based on their individual needs and budget.
In summary, Green Valley Veterinary Clinic has received positive feedback regarding the caring nature of certain staff members, particularly Dr. Alicia Fai and vet tech Victoria, as well as the helpfulness of the reception team. These positive experiences highlight the potential for excellent care and a supportive environment for your pets. However, recent negative reviews regarding the handling of a pet by a newer doctor and the poor customer service experienced by a grieving couple indicate that there may be inconsistencies in service quality and areas where improvements in communication, appointment management, and overall patient care are needed.
As a local Pet Hospital, Green Valley Veterinary Clinic offers a range of services that typically include routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, and end-of-life care such as euthanasia. While specific details about all services offered are not available in the provided information, it is recommended to contact the clinic directly to inquire about their complete service portfolio and how they can cater to your pet's specific health needs.
When choosing a veterinary care provider for your beloved pet, it is crucial to consider all available information, including the experiences of other pet owners. While Green Valley Veterinary Clinic has aspects that are highly praised, the recent negative feedback should prompt potential clients to have open conversations with the clinic about their standards of care, appointment procedures, and how they address client concerns. Ensuring clear communication and a comfortable environment for your pet are essential factors in making an informed decision about their veterinary care.
We encourage local users to consider the information provided and to contact Green Valley Veterinary Clinic directly to discuss their pet's needs and to understand how the clinic can provide the best possible care. It is always advisable to have a thorough understanding of the clinic's environment, the expertise of their staff, and their commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary services.

Apr 04, 2025 · Jennifer BashamWe recommended this vet after some positive experiences, but our opinion has changed after the way an 80-year-old couple was treated when they brought their dog in for it's final trip. An elderly couple had to sit in a room for 1.5 hours with a dog in pain. No one told them why their appointment (yes, they had an appointment for this, they were not a walk-in) was delayed so much as they watched their beloved dog suffer longer. They later noticed two other people who arrived after them were helped first. This is just poor business management and extremely poor customer care. We called to talk to them, got sent to voicemail and have yet to receive a call back. I guess they only call back when they can get money out of you. Due to their poor treatment of someone we recommended them to and the fact they won't call back, they won't be getting our business anymore. No idea about the average cost, but the dog was 69 pounds and it cost just under $350 to be euthanized. Shop around for prices even if you do continue to use them.
Feb 19, 2025 · Mike JGreat place!! Office is very clean and very nice. The staff were very kind and professional. The Dr was awesome!! Everything was explained to me in a way that I understood. My fur baby is doing much better in only a days time. I will be returning for any future issues or shots etc. Very happy with this veterinary.
Dec 11, 2024 · Deb LoweNice small clinic that was able to book my dog the same day when my regular vet was booked solid. All staff were very welcoming and happy to answer questions. Dr. Knopp was great with my nervous dog and my treatment options were throughly explained with transparent, reasonable pricing information. Thank you!
Jan 23, 2025 · Sarah GhioStaff is very welcoming. Dr. Z was the best Vet my pet has had. He was very informative and took time to explain things to us. My pet has always snapped at vets checking him and with Dr Z he was calm and not scared.
