Everyone was so kind and attentive to my dog. The entire staff was so friendly and made us feel like family. I'm from out of state and my dog needed an emergency vet. I called another facility and they didn't have a doctor until the afternoon. This was 6:30am and there was no way I could wait that long. They recommended I try Green Acres, which was a closer drive from where I was staying at the hotel. Upon entering the staff was so kind and helped with checking in, and one by one others came out to see my dog to say hi… he was being a good boy. After the exam, Dr. Tanalski explained everything so well and truly made my dog & me feel better. His boo boo foot is on the mend and he’s resting comfortably at the hotel until we head back home. The facility is beautiful and the staff were amazing! I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and attention!

My cat Apollo spent 2 nights here with a urinary blockage, and I have to say the care he received was incredible. Every single person I interacted with here was so friendly, understanding, and patient with me. They always provided me with updates on Apollo, and never made me feel bad for calling multiple times to check on him. They all went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a vet who puts your fur babies safety and wellbeing first, then this is the spot. Apollo & I are so grateful ❤️

Dr. Karson, Erik, and Matthew are all amazing. They’ve treated my dog, Macie, with such care and compassion, and they’ve shown that same kindness to me as well. Dr. Karson is especially great at explaining everything thoroughly, making sure I fully understand everything that is going on with Macie and what her treatment options are. She never made me feel rushed, even when I had a million questions. I couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve provided. I’m so grateful for how quickly they diagnosed my pup and how quickly they were able to point us to the right treatment. I’ll never forget what they’ve done for us.

Our girl Bowie had to go to this vet which is over an hour away for us, because all the ones closer were so inundated. She was in congestive heart failure and spent almost 4 days in their care and steadily improved and today we're picking her up. Through our calls every few hours to taking us in to visit her, they have been patient, dedicated and kind. These wonderful people on this care team treat your animals like their own. They let us bring in her favorite treats, which they took the time to give her and gave her love and affection when we could not. Yes the cost is high but they do offer options through care credit and if it had been a person without insurance going through the same thing it would've been 10000x more expensive. They were very up front about their estimates and options. Being mad at the care team for the cost is like being mad at your server for the price a restaurant charges for their meals. The American Healthcare system is broken just as much for them as it is for us and it is not their fault. These amazing people work around the clock to provide thorough and personalized care for the creatures we love the most, and they are constantly treated badly. Its a thankless job and it causes massive stress and depression. If you're mad at costs, get insurance. And if you aren't prepared to cover the cost of an emergency service for a pet who gives their whole life to you, you shouldn't be a pet owner. Period. We are so grateful to everyone who tirelessly worked to make it possible for our girl to come home to us again. Without them our baby would be gone and I cannot thank them or praise them enough.

I brought my dog here from Rochester during what we assume was a petite seizure after almost a year of sudden onset idiopathic epilepsy. The Dr and staff were wonderful and kind. During this visit the Dr recommended a visit with their new neurologist on staff. He said she was very thorough and skilled. We were apprehensive as we had seen a “renowned” neurologist in Ithaca and it was incredibly disappointing. He offered no solutions or recommendations beyond “get her fixed” with no bloodwork or testing to support this. We decided to give Dr Karson a try as my dog was getting worse and experiencing cluster seizures every 2 weeks. The worst was when she had 5 in 36 hours. We were able to get on her schedule very quickly. Dr Karson did a thorough exam to rule out anything additional. Still being diagnosed as epilepsy (totally fine) but she actually took the time to discuss our options of medication and plan going forward. She was kind and patient and easy to talk with. Writing this is making me tear up as I was not sure how long she would survive considering how bad she was getting but Dr Karson saved my dog and drastically improved her quality of life. And ours! We are no longer constantly stressed out worrying about her 24/7. She is playful and happy again and soooo full of life. Our sincerest gratitude to you Dr Karson! Thank you for all you do and the love you have for our fuzzy babies! ♥️
