So good with my cats. It's easy to schedule with them, and test results for most panels come back within 2 days, which I appreciate. They are through with concerns and recommend reasonable testing when trying to determine the cause. I miss my old vetrinarian, who retired, but I'm happy to have found a place I like just as much. They also partner with cat rescues to give back to the community, laudable ❤️. And they have some of the best office cats to keep things running smoothly.

The environment at Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital is specifically tailored to cats. Customer reviews highlight a "very clean and cutely decorated with cats everywhere" atmosphere. This suggests a conscious effort to create a space that is not only hygienic but also visually appealing and perhaps even comforting for cats and their owners. The presence of "office cats" further contributes to this unique environment, potentially providing a calming effect and demonstrating the staff's deep affection for felines. A cat-friendly environment often incorporates features such as separate waiting areas to minimize stress from other animal species, quiet examination rooms, and specialized handling techniques to ensure a more relaxed experience for feline patients. While specific details about the layout and amenities are not exhaustively provided online, the emphasis on a clean and cat-centric décor underscores their commitment to creating a positive and species-specific setting.

As a specialized Cat Hospital, Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services focused on feline health. These services likely include routine wellness examinations specifically designed for cats, taking into account their unique physiological needs and common feline health concerns. Vaccinations, tailored to protect against prevalent feline diseases, would also be a fundamental service. Preventative care, such as parasite control (fleas, ticks, heartworms) and nutritional counseling formulated for cats, are also likely integral to their practice. The mention of efficient scheduling and relatively quick turnaround times for test results ("within 2 days for most panels") indicates a commitment to convenience and timely communication with pet owners.

For diagnosing feline illnesses, Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital likely offers various diagnostic services. This may include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, allowing for prompt assessment of a cat's health status. While imaging technologies like X-rays or ultrasound are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, they are standard diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine and would likely be available to aid in diagnosing a wide range of feline conditions. The review noting that the veterinarians are "thorough with concerns and recommend reasonable testing when trying to determine the cause" suggests a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to diagnosis.

In terms of medical treatment, Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital would provide care for a wide array of feline illnesses and injuries. This includes managing common feline conditions such as upper respiratory infections, urinary tract issues, gastrointestinal problems, and skin conditions. The "knowledgeable" veterinarians, as implied by the positive reviews, would be skilled in diagnosing and treating these and more complex feline diseases. Pharmaceutical services, including dispensing medications specifically formulated for cats, would also be a standard offering.

While surgical services are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, it is reasonable to expect that a specialized cat hospital would offer common surgical procedures relevant to feline health. This would likely include routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering, which are essential for population control and offer various health benefits for cats. Other surgical procedures for addressing injuries or medical conditions specific to cats may also be available. Anesthesia protocols and pain management tailored for feline patients would be critical components of their surgical services.

A notable feature of Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital is their strong connection to the local cat rescue community. The review mentions that they "partner with cat rescues to give back to the community," which is described as "laudable ❤️." This suggests a commitment to animal welfare beyond their direct patient care, potentially involving providing medical services, support, or resources to local rescue organizations. This community partnership highlights their dedication to the well-being of cats in the greater Lafayette area.

Another unique feature, as mentioned in one of the reviews, is the presence of "some of the best office cats to keep things running smoothly." While the exact role of these resident felines is not specified, their presence likely contributes to the cat-friendly atmosphere and could even provide a sense of comfort or familiarity for visiting feline patients. This detail further emphasizes the specialized and cat-centric nature of the practice.

They were wonderful with our little Chloe. The environment is very clean and cutely decorated with cats everywhere. All staff were very nice. Dr. Clayton made us feel comfortable and explained everything to us. I also liked that they texted us updates while our cat was there.

The Cat Hospital is a wonderful team of professional, caring folks who work together to provide excellent care and service for our cats. We recently lost our cat Lilly to cancer. But the Cat Hospital gave Lilly and us a ‘bonus year’ due to their expert care. Can’t praise them enough.

I've taken both of my cats here in the recent months and have been super impressed with the staff service and the prices! They even got my cat in on the same day when she had symptoms of a throat obstruction, which really impressed me. Plus, I got to meet Mikey (one of the office cats) who was super sweet and climbed on my shoulders!

After trying 3 other veterinary clinics…We have found exactly what we were looking for in Dr Clayton. She took time to listen and hear our concerns. She took time to thoroughly discuss the treatment plan for our Bengal boy Ugo. Thank you so much for the amazing visit today.
